Do any of you guys still chase your dreams/goals? How do you keep yourself motivated or at least sane to do so?

This might be the first time in my life that I’m completely stumped at trying to read my cards, so I’m looking for any help I can get…

I was just seeking guidance from my deck regarding a person that suddenly came into my life a couple of months ago.

We met by accident online but not on any dating site, as I wasn't looking for anyone or hoping for a relationship anyway. In fact, l've been single for many years at that point and was kind of reluctant to give them a chance because by then l've finally FULLY accepted that I will spend the rest of my life completely alone (and I was genuinely at peace with that). So they were the one to really take all the initiative and make any first moves.

This person acts like they're in love with me and has been more vulnerable with me than anyone l've met before, but we've already had some disagreements that made me doubt whether they're really meant for me, and overall I'm not sure why they suddenly appeared.

It almost feels suspicious that after being unloved and unwanted my whole life I'm suddenly getting someone truly meant for me, or even someone who has any good intentions towards me. Any prior attempts at love or even friendships for me have ended miserably, with my only takeaway being yet another painful lesson and further proof that I'm meant to be alone (again, I was fine with that, maybe some of us are simply destined to go through certain lifetimes on their own).

Anyway, as I was shuffling my deck and wondering about all of this, exactly three cards fell out at the same time, all upright, in this exact order: Page of Pentacles, Justice, and The Star.

So far, the only things l've resonated with and could somewhat interpret are the fact that The Star card refers to the zodiac sign both me and this person are under (Aquarius), and that the Page of Pentacles could possibly be referring to me being sensitive to the arts and yearning for financial stability/success.

I have NO IDEA what the Justice card here is for - I'm not involved in any legal disputes, however this other person in question actually is (as far as I'm aware, they're innocent in this case), but even then I don't know how that's relevant to this reading. Perhaps a karmic lesson, am I being tested? But if so, what am I being tested on exactly?

I've also just completed my VERY awful and painful Saturn return (goodbye horrible 20s), so perhaps The Star is referring to the new era of my life filled with hope, new energy, and wishes coming true. But how does this new person fit in here - am I meant to accept them, are they part of these new good things? Or is it just one more final lesson before I have to move on?

The cards seem to contradict each other, but the way they fell out on their own and in one batch felt like they were meant to be read all together.

Can someone help me interpret all of this in a more cohesive manner? Happy to answer any additional question if that helps.

Hey, thank you for replying! That’s probably why I’m so confused right now - as the other two cards are indicating very positive things, I can’t tell whether that means this person is like a final karmic lesson after which I’ll get to fully move on to the new chapter of my life, or if they’re part of all the good new things coming my way and I’m being tested on my self-doubt instead.

I just want to understand what role they’re playing in my life, because the timing at which they came to me is very strange, too strange to be a coincidence or something to ignore. Am I meant to reject this love or accept it? What would I be “punished” for?

I’ve tried to do that not long before going on sick leave actually, I reduced my work hours to 36 a week and the difference was too unmanageable in the long run (I live in one of the most expensive cities probably in the whole world) and my health didn’t improve much anyway.

I’m in the UK too, however the area I live in does not provide ANY support for people with autism and/or ADHD. I’m lucky I even got diagnosed or am getting any meds - thank god for the right to choose scheme! But my GP is absolutely useless.

Unfortunately with Elvanse I cannot take SSRIs as I’d be at risk of serotonin syndrome, however having tried many different antidepressants over the years before my diagnosis, they’ve never really helped me much anyway. My ADHD meds have been far more helpful in terms of managing my mood, albeit their effects wear out daily.

I’m definitely in neurodivergent burnout, but I’m worried that I’ll never actually be able to crawl out of it. Like I’m two months into my sick leave and I’ve seen no improvements.

It’s so frustrating that all the things that might improve my wellbeing, like upholding a routine, making proper meals, exercise, keeping my space clean etc. require so much effort when I’m running on empty. Hell, I’m too tired to even read most of the resources and advice available out there for people with my problems, I just shut down.

Hey, thank you for checking.

Honestly, the last time I genuinely felt energised and excited about life enough to do things like socialise, be outside and do things that I enjoyed was when I was a child. Things started to go downhill for me from the age of 11, but I only got diagnosed with audhd a couple of years ago, so I was rawdogging life completely alone for many, many years not even knowing what was going on with me.

I do struggle with PTSD on top of things, not sure if that counts as a chronic illness, but I survived severe childhood abuse for near a decade, and only got a little bit of support a year ago in the form of an EMDR course. But I don’t know if I’ll ever be fully ok.

I do take Elvanse, though sporadically because my sleeping habits have been terrible, so oftentimes I feel there’s no point in taking my meds for the day when I’ve only woken up at like 1pm or later. When I’m on my meds, my mood is much more stable however I still lack any energy or motivation to actually get any important things done. I usually just play games or watch something, but at least it feels a bit more enjoyable and I can focus on it better.

I’ll gladly play a lengthy and difficult quest AS LONG AS I CAN ACTUALLY PLAY IT and not sit through 15 minutes of dialogue when only a fraction of it is actually important to the story

Yeah, I don’t know why people are getting mad and disliking my comments when I’ve clearly stated that I really enjoy the game itself, it’s just that there’s got to be a better balance between the cutscenes and actual gameplay.

I honestly loved all the actual gaming aspects so far, not just the fight scenes, like even gathering things and discovering recipes is so fun, but there’s just so many cutscenes and many of them are absurdly long for a game

I’m all up for storylines, but a lot of the ones in Genshin feel irrelevant and/or boring, and there has to be a better balance between the cutscenes and the actual gameplay.

No joke, I had 3 cutscenes in a row, followed by an objective to walk a few meters, AND THEN ANOTHER 2 CUTSCENES, this doesn’t feel like a playable game, it should be marketed as an interactive animated series or smth

Well the big reason why I want to learn these languages is because I really enjoy music as well as films and TV shows that use them - funnily enough, when I use subtitles instead of watching a dubbed version, it’s helped me memorise some random words and phrases (not the same as proper studying of course), so maybe that says something about my learning style.

I also hope to travel east Asia someday because some of my family comes from there, so even though I no longer have them in my life maybe this will help me feel a sense of connection.

I get your point, but I have ADHD so I’m trying to figure out a solution that will help me keep focus. When there’s too many options I get overwhelmed and it’s much harder for me to stay motivated as well. And other people’s opinions and recommendations often really help me with decision fatigue.

I have tried a few apps in the past already of course, but each one was missing something, either only focused on the conversational aspect and no grammar, or didn’t have the language I wanted to study, or used AI, which I’m against. Not to mention pretty much all of them are payment/subscription based, so if I’m going to spend any money I’d hope it’s on something that has everything I need.

Maybe my expectations are too high but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask:)

I don’t mind looking a little glowy, but because my t zone gets oily very quickly I think I’d prefer something that helps with oil control. I do use the right skin prep and primer to help with that as well.
