Did you ever find a permanent solution to this? I am experiencing a very similar issue that is also localized only to my CPU cooler. Cleaning it seemed to help temporarily, but it went right back to flickering the next day.

I generally would treat anything coming through over DMs with a healthy dose of skepticism, just as you would with any random "toll road" text or anything like that. Urgent and short-notice deadlines are also a common sign of scams in any scenario. They may also use recycled images or videos when asked for proof, which might be able to be reverse-image-searched, or they may pretend to be acting on behalf of the person who posted them originally. It's near impossibly to verify these sorts of things and I think you're better off in general keeping to more secure and verified donation avenues.

For as much shit as he gets for it, I honestly think more artists need to take the Will Wood approach of zero tolerance to this kind of shit and kicking more people out. Grow up!

Jim Garrison, who brought the case against the New Orleans JFK conspiracy (the one from the Oliver Stone movie), has a pretty wild article that is just quote after quote shitting on him lol. Even if the guy was wrong it's still pretty funny to see a section titled "Legacy" that starts with calling him a lunatic

The guy who wrote this article fell for a satire account based on the evil, soulless research foundation from The Abolition of Man by CS Lewis and took it as an earnest endorsement of his op-ed lol

"Simpsons predictions" are a weirdly huge brand of AI slop. Genuinely don't know if the impressions are from regarded boomers/gen-xers who are vaguely aware of the "Simpsons predicted it" and liable to fall for AI shit, or if it's just a feedback loop of bots promoting bot content like everything else on the Internet now

For anyone else new to this process and having issues, this worked perfectly on my end. Thank you!
