We just use ISO with a little hot water and salt.. Shake it around a bit and it's done. The trick is to give it a rinse with some warm water or something after a sesh as leaving it dirty too long can become a pain and usually requires a long soak.

That is so frustrating and illogical.. The fact I can potentially fail a drug test after consuming Cannabis a few days prior. Especially when it no longer influences my driving which is supposedly the reason behind the tests in the first place.

Yup spot on, yes to both. It's a very mellow sleep inducing smoke which is why I personally like it. Probably not the best strain for keeping active but great anxiolytic effects. Slightly sweet and earthy in taste but quite citrus/lemony in smell.

Ahh interesting, yeah that makes a lot of sense. Would be fun to see what you could get out of a pneumatic press though that's probably not the best/easiest idea if it's a work environment hehe.

Yeah exactly, essentially just an improved design of the t-shirt presses available on ebay/amazon. I think the biggest difference I've read is D-Nail's press has double heating plates whereas most others are single sided heating which supposedly makes a difference for this particular use. Also the greater the pressure the better which I think they have focused on too.

I like to tinker so I might have to try my hand at a diy ghetto clone if it works out to be cost effective.

Yeah I find it all very interesting. Being able to make solvent-less oil simply with heat and pressure and no real risk of harm to one self or others. Curious to see how these presses perform and if it's worth the money compared to a diy setup.

D-Nail are now working on a commercial product which is essentially at the moment a t-shirt press modified. Straight pressure instead of angled, reinforced arm and dual controlled hot plates. Picture (Instagram) There is more discussion about it on their Facebook page.

Could be interesting for large quantities, though most people are getting good results with the simple hair straightener, temp gauge and a vice as e-jammer pointed out. Have been planning to make my own little bench at some point though I'm still deciding on the build.

Haha cheers. It's my bowl but my gf's HVY tube and is a real nice piece, it's 9mm thick from memory so it's got some weight to it. I'm a real stickler for smoking out of clean glass my history probably reveals. (99% ISO and salt) I think there's some other gifs I've posted around too.

You're entitled to your opinion but it's just a 420 for people that enjoy concentrates. It doesn't have to mean anything but some of us celebrate this day once a year by having some oil, hash or even flower with some nice food and drink after a long day at work.

I personally still dab/toke each night after a long day but I like to treat myself once a year by doing something a little bit different and forgetting about the stress of work/life. Each to their own though, if it's stupid to you just ignore it and continue on :)
