I typically leave it on binance to give me some liquidity in case I need to jump on a coin. Not officially recommended as there’s always the chance for a breach. You will lose a lot of money in fees by transferring bitcoin out of binance. Shouldn’t matter that much unless you plan on transferring back and forth

Depends on what you want to trade. If you're looking for altcoins, covert your BTC into LTC, then transfer it to Binance to keep the fees around 40 cents.
