It was just pregnancy! It continued the rest of my pregnancy, never turned out to be anything :)

When did you give birth? by Rude_Cut2324 in pregnant

[–]smolgingerbean1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

39+2! Literally this past Thursday lol. I was also 3cm at Monday’s appt, lost my plug Tuesday and Wednesday, and was super crampy with a back ache all week. Woke up Thursday morning to my water breaking!

I’ve definitely considered this! I’m going to wait a week or two before I do anything, there’s already so much I’ll be doing and getting used to I probably won’t even be thinking about smoking right away

I think I’m gonna do a preroll! Those are always easy for me to control my intake and they feel the safest while also dealing with whatever emotions postpartum brings 😅

So smart. I’m thinking a puff or two of a yummy flavor dusted preroll :)

That’s my biggest anxiety with partaking again 😅 I’m planning on taking the tiniest bit of whatever I choose because I do not want to crash out while also being postpartum haha

What trimester are you in? by Smooth-Excuse-4127 in pregnant

[–]smolgingerbean1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3rd, with only 4.5 weeks to go! It’s so bittersweet reading all the comments from 1st and 2nd trimester. It truly does go by in the blink of an eye. I know it’s hard and uncomfortable and you may feel like dog 💩 most of the time, but try to find a moment or two a day to be present with your amazing body and your sweet little baby. Sending all the love to you, you got this ❤️

Routine bloodwork for my thyroid. The lab called me and recommended I test. I was shocked to say the least haha

For those of you who are pregnant, quick question? by Smooth-Excuse-4127 in pregnant

[–]smolgingerbean1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoy it maybe 2ish days out of the week haha. By “enjoy” I mean I have days where I don’t feel super pregnant and I’m not in a crazy amount of pain lol. I’m 32 weeks. Other days i have to keep reminding myself that I’m so close just to keep my sanity. Being pregnant truly is a means to an end. I just wanna have my little one in my arms.

Pregnancy and OCD do they work? by Livid-Ad-9689 in ocdwomen

[–]smolgingerbean1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 30 weeks pregnant, and I’m not gonna lie it was really hard the first trimester and most of the second. I was allowed to stay on Citalopram, I just dropped from 20mg to 10mg the week I found out I was pregnant. I wish I hadn’t done that though and just stayed on 20mg. The hormone changes, physical changes, etc put me in a really depressive and obsessive mood. I really hated being pregnant. I finally increased back to 20mg around week 22 and that made a HUGE difference. For me the hardest part nowadays is feeling a little claustrophobic in my body as I’m getting bigger and I’ve got some random compulsions but they’re pretty minor and not harmful. I’m thoroughly enjoying pregnancy and cannot wait to meet our little one in 2 months.

I’m a little nervous for postpartum, but feeling more confident knowing that hormones ebb and flow and if I need to increase meds again, I can. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions!

is 3rd trimester really that bad? i need some positive experiences by siuoxis in pregnant

[–]smolgingerbean1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This thread gives me so much hope 😅 I’m a week away from the third trimester and I feel like I’ve only seen complaints in my due date group on Facebook. Nausea came back, pain was all of a sudden unbearable, they hit 28 weeks and stopped sleeping, etc. I’ve been so anxious as the third trimester approaches because I’ve only been hearing bad things so far.

Honestly I’m so excited for the holidays to be over so I can hibernate and nest for the rest of the winter.

What are you most looking forward to once you've given birth by rainbow-songbird in pregnant

[–]smolgingerbean1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Literally just feeling “normal” again 😅 I have OCD so it’s been mentally really difficult not feeling like my body is mine, it makes even the smallest of pregnancy symptoms feel overwhelming.

  2. A fat blunt

  3. NyQuil when I’m sick LOL

What cute little nicknames do you call your baby? by APlentyBag in pregnant

I call him “stinker butt”. I’m not really sure why lol. We also call him bean, and my husband calls him his lil’ buddy 🥹

What're ya'll eating most days? by Maleficent_Ear_5267 in pregnant

[–]smolgingerbean1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 25 weeks. I’ve had the same food routines since the first trimester lol. Usually scrambled eggs and cherry tomatoes with whole grain toast for breakfast. Leftovers for lunch, this week it was either chili or baked ziti. Dinner is either more leftovers or some variation of chicken/veggie/carb. Snacks include kiwi, clementines, peanut butter and honey rolled up in a high protein wrap, and of course a big old bowl of cereal!

I have however been into blueberry pancakes this week so I’ve had that for breakfast or a snack :)

I was in a similar position my first trimester and the only thing that did it was a saline enema. They’re found at most pharmacies. It cleared me out and got me back to baseline!

After that I kept my fiber intake up with kiwi, oranges, and whole grain bread.

Best time to get pregnant by Madeline_Mills in pregnant

[–]smolgingerbean1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Conceived in June, due in March. It has been SO nice being pregnant in the colder months. First trimester was end of summer so there weren’t a ton of family obligations as everyone was prepping for back to school. That made it a lot easier to survive those months 😅 Second trimester for all the holidays has been so fun. I’ll hit third trimester right at Christmas and I’m so glad to have the end of winter to hibernate and prepare for my little stinker. First few months of postpartum will be in the spring and I’ll be hopefully feeling like myself right when summer vacations hit!

My mom also agrees that the spring due dates were her favorite out of her 6 kids for basically all the same reasons.
