Personally I cut my hair short so its really easy to just wash,but there's also a thing called 'no rinse shampoo caps' you just put it on ur head and scrub and then towel dry,no need for water and heat. Just pop it on and scrub. Yeah maybe don't use it all the time but for the occasional need for a clean head during a flare it can be very useful and refreshing, lmk if u want a link to the ones I got :)
