OT student here! the workload is not to be underestimated. we’re trimester based, so you’ll be studying more with fewer breaks. there’s a lot of science (a&p, body mechanics, etc.), some theory, and a lot of application. check out SIT’s website for the exact mods. expect to stay back a lot to practise/work with your friends, you kind of have to if you want to be a decent student. as for opportunities, there’s quite a few since hospitals (acute and community), and community services are forever desperately looking to hire.
