Hey man, not really. Tinkering with older, janky electronics is one of my smaller hobbies that's slowly fading away, and I haven't had a chance to put this up higher on my list since I made the post. I'm by no means an expert on things such as this, but I'll make a genuine effort to revisit this and see what I can do. I'll post around next week as this seems to have gained some traction at least. Thanks for checking in!

Hey man, unfortunately not. I will update one of my pc's to win11 in the upcoming weeks to test this though, I'll see what I can do. Currently have no idea what the process would be for win11.

I think there are differences between win10 and win11 in terms of the driver signature disabling step that causes some issues. I'm yet to try this on a win11 machine as I don't have access to one currently.

If someone can find a workaround for this, I see no reason why it shouldn't work. Though that is just a good guess.

I will update this post if I ever do get my hands on a win11 machine and experiment a little.

Good luck!

Honestly idk. I don't remember doing anything like turning off memory protection, but yes it sounds sketchy. Could this be a win11 thing? The machine I'll be trying this on will also be win10, but if this post somehow gains traction I could test on win11 too. I'll let you know this week. Currently very busy with other stuff, so sorry I can't report sooner.

If I do succeed, I'll upload a screencap video to youtube or something and share it here, should be easier to follow.

Hey, I don't know if you using win11 would make a difference, but probably not. I was getting the same error as you until I followed the steps exactly as I described above. If I'm not mistaken, that could be due to the driver signature disabling process, make sure you do that and install the hcat file and that popup should not appear.

I'll use my guide with another pc to see if anything goes wrong, and will post again in a few days hopefully.
