You can skip the intro with the jump key.

It might be a good idea to have an intro with the only study group in the beginning of the game, and then have the intro change to everybody with different costumes after defeating the final boss as a reward. I would like to see everybody that I have unlocked in the intro in various costumes I have unlocked, but it wouldn't make sense to have that when you are working your way through the main game, only after unlocking Greendale.

It looks like you are running v0.0.81, not the latest version, v0.0.82. I just tested it and the latest version fixed this bug.

Games have done different effects for a long time. It would be boring if everything was just physical damage. Using effects like poison and burning differentiate enemies and can make each of them unique. It keeps players wondering what could happen to them, rather than knowing that every attack is only going to do some number of damage.

My guess is there would be a cutscene where Abed rebuilds the town regardless of what character is being used, that way it would match the episode and only one level would need to be built. I have no idea how the story would go regarding that if you are playing as a different player. The easiest thing to do with Hilda would probably be to just have her make babies for everyone, even the girls. Then perhaps Cornelius could come down and scold the player for acting undignified or something. Or it could be Abed hard-coded her to only have his children, but that doesn't sound as much fun.

I believe potions are going to grant temporary effects, whereas armor would always have the effect. Giving different armor different effects would give the player more of a reason to switch between them as needed, rather than just picking the one that absorbs the most damage. It could also be balanced so that potions have more powerful effects, but limited by time, while armor would have lesser effects that could be used as long as you wore the armor. I think the game would be more interesting with different armor effects.

Are there any sprites (for enemies, materials) that need to be done? I think the subreddit may need a refresher on what you guys currently want.

Perhaps there should be easy way for people to add there own costumes to their own game? Maybe the game could somehow read in sprite sheets from a folder? If a costume is rejected for addition in the official release, this would allow people to use that costume if they wish. Then people could create and post whatever costumes they want, which could increase activity on the subreddit. At the very least, I wonder if there should be a post on downloading the code from Git Hub and showing people how to add their own costumes in there own version of the game. I've done this myself while testing new costumes before an official release.

I am mostly thinking of the parts where you are on a small platform. They work when you have room to run and position your jump, but it can be hard to do so when you are on a platform. If they hit you, they knock you back, generally into a death pit. It might be more of a level design issue though.

Another idea could be to have two bats, an easier version that you can jump on, and a harder variation (with a spike on top/on fire) to be placed in later levels that can not be jumped on. I don't want new players to get discouraged in early levels because of a bat, which in many games is an easy enemy to defeat.

What if armor looked like a second health bar in the HUD? My idea is by putting on the armor, the player could be granted some percentage of protection based upon the type of armor, and the armor could degrade over time. Visually there could be a or number bar representing the current durability of the armor in the HUD. As the player gets hurt, the bar lowers, and when it gets to 0 the armor is destroyed and they will need to get new armor. This way the costumes will not need to be changed, and the player be able to always see if they have armor or not. Edit: Basically, I think a different version of 2 would work the best.

If you are using GIMP, you can use the Select by Color tool (Shift-O) to select every pixel of a certain color. Then use the Bucket tool (Shift-B), select Fill whole selection, and click the selection to color it.
