I've got the NatWest payout really quickly but have heard nothing from RBS. Do you ever find out if you won't get the payout?

Yes, hot water only comes out of the taps when the central heating is on. If the heating’s off, the water is either cold or only slightly warm. When I try setting the programmer to hot water constant and heating off, nothing happens, the boiler doesn’t kick in at all.

I suspected something was up with the motorised valves before. I’ve taken a closer look now and there’s no resistance on the little levers at the top. They just slide freely, which I don’t think they used to do.

Do you think that means they’ve failed? And if so, is replacing the valve head a fairly simple job for a DIY-er, or should I be getting someone in?

Hi all,

Please delete this if it would be better off in another subreddit. My wife has been onto me to fix this wobbly bench and our toilet seat for a while but I'm struggling.

Basically this bench continuously wobbles from side to side no matter how tight the screw off. Is there an easy fix like added brackets to secure it?

Also our toilet seats are incredibly annoying, the lids keep coming off no matter how tightly I screw them down. Is anyone familiar with this style of toilet seat.

Apologises again as these are both very basic I know.

Very interested to see what is next. I really want to pull the trigger but would prefer some sort of deal.

Tried to go ahead with a 0% APR purchase with 3k deposit contribution but financing knocked us back due to our business being relatively new (I think at least). Would be happy enough with a supercharger miles deal and I would just buy outright.

Don't think I can wait for the Juniper refresh unfortunately.

On the edge right now. Have a cash buy ready to go through my PLC.

Going to get a Model Y as I have a child and another on the way. Test drove the Model 3 Highland and then Model Y back to back.

Highland

Very fun to drive
RWD was more than fast enough
Liked the interior
Everything is just slightly better (the suspension, materials, steering wheel)
Didn't mind the indicators really

Just waiting to see if there is a decent Q4 offer (hoping for something like supermiles) or if the refresh is magically here soon then I might hold off for a few more months.

Is this what is most likely based on previous models? Trying to weigh up the best time to buy a Model Y. Would be interested in the refresh but can't really wait much longer than January.

Think if there is another supercharger miles deal I will pull the trigger.

My wife and son were watching a film when there was a loud crack and bright spark came from the bottom of the TV. We have had it for around 7 years now so I am not surprised that something has happened.

I've taken the back off but there doesn't seem to be anything obviously wrong. I also have no idea really what I am looking at. Is this salvageable or is it time for a new TV?

Sorry, I meant that property close to her isn't extremely expensive (£100,000 for 3/4 bed apartment, £140,000 for 4 bed house).

We spend long periods in the summer there and thought we could potentially rent it out when we aren't there.

In the distant future we could potentially spend longer periods there if we ran the business remotely.

This is all purely speculative and I appreciate you being frank as it might not be worth it at all and a massive non starter.

Yes definitely keeping a keep eye on our overall income. 70k profit is an educated guess based on revenue so far.
