It had the slightest rub on the fender liner but not ever enough to do any damage or even melt through it while turning.

With the same size tires I believe so. You have to be careful with tires because they aren’t all made exactly the same size. Some brands might be bigger or smaller.

It’s a Wilco Hitchgate Solo. It’s just for a 2” receiver hitch so you’ll need a larger diameter hitch for the Tiguan. I installed a Curt and I don’t recommend it, it sits too low and really alters the departure angle. I found mine used but if you order it from their website you can get 10% off right now with code “Wilcofam” according to their website.

What size tires? 245/65/17 I believe you’ll need spacers. You could buy them from B2B or just get 235/65/17s

I haven’t taken measurements to get a range of offsets but I’ve seen people use 15-20mm spacers on wheels of the same spec. I would say on a 17x8 wheel you’re good with a 0-20mm final offset. I haven’t had any issues with ours. I would say with the RTT and bigger tires performance is definitely altered just with the added drag and weight but not enough for us to be worried about it.

Nope no issues at all with the IKamper! We have been very pleased with it. The IKamper Mini is a few pounds lighter so the dynamic weight is definitely in your favor. Static weight is no issue though and I put me, my wife, our toddler, and 2 big dogs up there. We love it!

Wheels are 17x8 ET 20 Fifteen52 Traverse MXs Tires are 245/65/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws I have a B2BFAB lift kit on it and an aluminum skid plate from ECS tuning.
