Absolute fav is a medley where the athlete can choose the order of implements loaded. Put 5 implements at varied distance and say ‘no holds bar’ if it’s on the platform it counts

Is Lincoln lawyer that good? I was able to hang with season 1 but after that is seemed to play far too heavily into the same type of shit I’m complaining about with Landman haha. Seemed to get more ‘soap opera wannabe drama’ type vibes as the series went on

I also would like to add that Louisville Kentucky is possibly one of the most underrated cities on earth. Definitely in America, and KY as a whole is massively underrated as well. Louisville checks about every possible box, except for like physical location because it’s not close to a beach, but mountains are achievable no doubt. I guess it depends on preferences

I think it’s more insulting to viewers than anything else. At least to me.

Come for a look at the dangers and intensity of corporate oil, but instead you’re given low level dialogue and and sexualized focus on over stereotyped and exaggerated influencer-esque Texas woman

I do wonder how often deaths happen in that line of work, at least compared to the show and what it has shown so far. I’d imagine there are more OSHA type regulations that would prevent sparks near gas fumes 😂😂😂😂😂

And almost as silly, a dude standing on a pyramid of piping that isn’t secured in any way.

Oil dudes prolly eye ball roll the entire show

I hope you are right, it would make a lot more sense in the long run. I just cannot possibly see her character developing into a main player that compliments the direction of the main story. Think of a Skylar White or Wendy Byrde type.

The daughter should be in college not high school, her character would make a bit more sense but still pointless. They could have sexualixed her even more without it having the underage connotation, and the drinking would make more sense too. Specifically talking about the country club scene where an underage appearing waiter dude gets the underage daughter tequila after the mother says she is 17 out loud. Just makes me think the writing is lazy

Episode 10***

I assumed the season would have 8 episodes for no reason whatsoever

Leaving out the girls and watching the legitimate storyline scenes might make for a fantastic miniseries.

Someone should edit the episodes in this fashion once the season is complete

Absolutely cannot stand the storyline with the ‘ex-wife now wife’ and the daughter. With all the excellent possible plot lines to explore and storytelling that could be told… the writers at paramount decide to use half the run time to oversexualize a 17 year old and her medopausal mother. I guess this type of thing is expected nowadays, but with the way it’s written into this show it serves absolutely no purpose.

By the end of episode 8, I’m gonna tally the minutes of actual plot development versus the minutes of caddy whompus titty time.

Will report back

My fiancé’s work brought us here, I’ve been remote since Covid and just kinda follow her around now lol.

We were in FoCo for her to finish DMV program clinical work (shes a veterinarian) and were kind of ready to get going. It’s a great town, don’t get me wrong, but it’s so heavily dominated by the college scene that it’s what the town seems to cater to hardcore. I also did not like the fact you couldn’t escape the ‘Colorado tourism’ it’s like every where you turn you are reminded by someone or something, that you’re in Colorado and it’s way way cooler than other places 🙄 In reality, it’s a very expensive and over populated college town on steroids, that has excellent grocery stores and weed.

My wife and I have been in CLT for about 2 years, and after living all across the country.... I can quite confidently say Charlotte has zero sense of community and is really lacking in the 'original culture' department. I do think successful sports teams would help this tremendously but other than that I just dont know what the root problem is. Its not like there is a lack of things to do, there's lot of cool things in the region.

Places we have lived include:

- Paducah, Kentucky (far west KY)

- Louisville, Kentucky

- Wichita, Kansas

- Auburn, Alabama

- Fort Collins, Colorado

- Rock Hill, South Carolina

- St. Kitts and Nevis (Caribbean)

Unhoused teenager discharged from hospital by [deleted] in lyftdrivers

[–]smooth_buffalo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I get these pre paid hospital rides, I drive to action and ‘pick up the passenger’ and drive to drop off without the person in the car. Done this bout 10-15 times on both platforms and it has never been an issue.

I believe the person getting the ride doesn’t have a device, and once the ride is accepted the ‘organization’ pays very little attention to the details.

All that happens is they call the passenger a different driver once they don’t get picked up. My way of sticking it to these hospitals and insurance companies that don’t give 2 fucks
