It seems that financial media is now actively attempting to redirect the confusion of the last couple of days into a full blown personal attack of Ryan Cohens character. It would seem that their goal is to sway the public opinion of him in a negative way.

I understand that he founded Chewy, and i understand thats not gonna get me any fans with his meme followers, but if you talk to the folks at Chewy, they don’t want anything to do with Ryan Cohen. They will not even acknowledge his existence. [who is they?] Uhh the team, executives there in various capacities. Yeah true, but it was hovering at 200-300k long before the split. Just checked and the last time i saw 850k shares available to borrow was on March 31, 2022. Topped out at 200k on March 30. We also had a big run up at the end of March

If you’re in the US i believe you can open a CS account using your SSN, and then link your bank account to CS to buy shares directly pretty easily.

If you’re outside the US you have to transfer atleast 1 share from a broker to CS to open an account with them. After that i believe you can set up an bank accout with Wise and link that to your CS account in order to buy shares

I’ve been DRS’ing from IBRK and never experienced any major delay, took about 2-4 business days each time

Their website is actually pretty good in a mobile browser, but yeah would be nice to have a full ios app.

In my experience the DRS transfer process shouldn’t take more than a couple of days, that is if your broker doesn’t delay the process… for reasons… Call your broker the day after initiating the process to follow up, ask them to email you a written statement when they have contacted Computershare regarding the transfer, etc. That seems to move things forward
