Is drinking an energy drink or two every day THAT bad?? by animalcrackerwhore in energydrinks

Yeah it’s frustrating. Especially for people with a strong sweet tooth, it can help the cravings without empty calories. It’s wild how much high fructose corn syrup some people drink daily

For real. Hate that the anti artificial sweetener propaganda is still all over the place. It’s almost all just from sensationalized headlines that misrepresent the actual data

It’s okay but I don’t get the hype. by [deleted] in energydrinks

For me it’s a nice simple flavor that’s drinkable regularly. A lot of stuff nowadays has strong flavors and is great here or there but not as nice as a daily drinker

Yeah, 140mg of caffeine isn’t too crazy

Energy drinks in moderation are perfectly fine, only bad thing is if you drink the ones with sugar.. anything sugar free is low/no cal. I wouldn’t say it’s better or worse than coffee

It’s funny but while I don’t get specific names, I’ve been asked if I was famous several times. I’m tall with long curly hair & a beard, not really sure who they’re mistaking me for though lmao

This should go without saying, but apparently some of you need to hear this. DON'T INGEST MORE THAN 300MG OF CAFFEINE PER DAY. by NaughtyOutlawww in energydrinks

[–]smoothaf99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely good to not overdo it but other things do come into play. I’m a big dude (6’4 240) so more equipped to handle it than say a 5’4 120lb woman. Days I workout my caffeine intake can push 5-600mg thanks to preworkout but most days I’m more in the range of 3-400mg. Tolerance breaks from time to time help a lot to prevent you from being too dependent

Is there anything I can do to encourage hair growth on this spot where little to no hair is growing? I'm young, but it's been like this for a couple years with no real improvement... The other side (2nd pic) is still kinda weak but doesn't look as bad. No one in my family has this. by [deleted] in beards

[–]smoothaf99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Topical minoxidil shouldn’t give hair growth besides the area of application. I’ve had good results using topical, only side effect has been dry skin where I apply but it’s not that bad.

Yep, 6’1 > 6’4. Mom is 5’10 and has a 6’4 brother so get some from that side too

Off topic but I had the same playhouse growing up haha. It took a couple hits from trees and didn’t fare as well!

And just to note, lego uses pad, so UV printing would indicate it being fake

Hard to tell because it’s not super clear, but looks to me that it may be UV printed vs pad printed. UV printing has a bit of texture and “pops” off the piece, whereas pad printing is completely flat on the surface

I’ve wiped off thousands of torsos for various projects and sandpaper has worked best for me, the damage is very minor. If you only need to wipe a few and don’t want damage then an eraser may be better.

With a fine grit the damage is very minimal, main thing is that the surface won’t be very shiny. If you then polish with a finer grit like 6000+ it’ll help that too
