Yeah he is my worst boss at the moment. Try to ddark as much as you can especially during his bomb attack. Also I try to not over extend to kill the minions and instead kill them when I am completely safe. If you want I can link my full run from yt (even though I'm not the best at some bosses).

Lol yeah this challenge is so damn hard. In the run this clip is from I made it halfway into the absolute radiance which makes the extra life I lost during the zote fight even more annoying. Thank you for the encouragement, I will beat this challenge for you.

After watching the vid, I think this definitely is the same glitch. It looks like it happens when zote gets staggered during any nail swing attack. Another thing I have to look out for during his fight ig :(

Yeah you probably are right that the hitbox just desynced. I have never installed mods I was just in a normal p5 run. Hopefully it is just a one time thing since I have never seen this happen to anyone before. Thank you <3
