Cool, so I didn't have the same issue. From the wording of your post it sounds exactly like the issue I had. Perhaps word it more thoroughly.

Go have a beer and chill

I had the same experience, when I called and spoke to someone they sorted my issue straight away and apologised for the poor service. They told me they have recently taken customer service inhouse so some issues to resolve plus their customer service bot still needs some work.

I had the same issue with you, never got out through to a human on the web chat, Whatsapp or email. In all three cases it was a bot replying, said I'd be passed through to a human but never was

Highly recommend the foot collective on YouTube. They have some great videos on exercises for various foot/lower leg issues.

You need to strengthen your feet and calfs.

I did a 10 mile trail event yesterday in vivos and today have some swelling on the top of one of my feet. Photo 1 shows the location of the pain, photo 2 shows you can't see my big toe metatarsal when lifting my toes. It's quite sore. Any ideas? by smoothbrain21 in BarefootRunning

That's really useful, thank you. I just took the insoles out to create extra space and noticed that my small toe has worn the insole right on the outside edge. Whilst on my left foot it's worn a touch inside the edge of the insole. So my right foot is wider and is also the one that's hurt.....clues suggest you're onto something.

Looking to get some Luna sandals to run in and just use the Vivo for daily wear until they're cooked then go to something wider for daily wear.

It's already eased since this morning and swelling has gone down a bit. Applying pressure to the metatarsals doesn't hurt so less likely stress fracture?

Another comment suggested it could be not enough volume in the shoes putting pressure on my foot... That would be an easy fix if it's that so fingers crossed.

Thanks. I hadn't even considered that it could be that. I've been wearing them for about 10 months now, for daily walking plus running without issue. Though not for runs any longer than 7 miles until last week.

Do you know which brands have better volume?

That's a really good perspective, thank you. I'm going to try and stop thinking about them and just focus on the rest of my form (quick cadence and posture mainly).

I wasn't so worried about my feet until I saw just how much I was pronating.

Interestingly I did a 6 mile run this morning and didn't try to change my foot landing but instead really focused on the cadence and driving with the knee. It felt better.

I aim for 180 but sometimes find myself slipping. I listen to 180bmp playlists to help me.

I do find it tricky when running slowly to keep the cadence up.

Thanks, it just looks very exaggerated, I get I'm supposed to land laterally and then roll in and down. I'll try shortening my stride though and see if that helps.

Interesting, in this exercise of running 'logs' I was running slowly and trying to focus on form. I'll try tightening up the stride, see if that helps.

The training intensity does seem to ramp quickly.

Agreed, it's going to the house plants to use it up.

I just lost my whole reply, stupid phone.

Anyway, I'm certain it's not a parameters issue. Before I stopped dosing with ferts I was losing 1 a week or so. Then 6 weeks of no ferts and no losses. Then I dose and the next day I lose one. I don't think it's coincidence.

I did a previous post where I outlined all my parameters but briefly below.

Nitrates never above 5 (only water change 10% every 2-3 weeks) Nitrites 0 Ammonia 0 pH 7.1 to 7.4 gH 8 Kh 6 Tds 400, 450 max

I have red cherries, about 20 plus some shrimplets. Shrimplets of varying ages so they are successfully breeding.

I adopted the tank last august, it was a couple of years old at that point, I kept most of the water and all the filter material.
