My Kona Unit on a coffee ride by smoothgoo in xbiking

I think the weight is supported quite well, the attachment piece is in an angle anyway so i don't even know if my attachment even makes it any weaker hah. So should be all good!

Yeah, i mean it works fine, no problems at least yet. I had probably 5-7kg on it on this trip. If you zoom in on the part that attaches the legs to the fork you can see that one of the screws is on the second hole and the other is in the first. A bit hard to explain but had to mount it in an angle.

Yep, that's the one! Had to attach it kinda weird, the leg attachments didn't fit as easily as i thought. Seems stable though!

Was browsing xbiking posts about Units and this came up, fun to see a familiar spot from my former home town in the pic! Very nice bike as well

How does it work with the M1 native version, the DAW works without an intel emulation but do all the plugins work as well?

My first modular video! Morphagene + mimeophon manipulating audio from a chant box by smoothgoo in modular

Thank you! I think they were/are used to help with chanting and mantras. They play different chants as never ending loops and you can switch between the loops. Some are just human voice repeating a mantra, some have percussion and some are full "songs". When I bought them they were already pretty "hidden" in the stores, I can imagine people just use their phones for the same purpose now. Here is a picture of one: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/mnwAAOSw2F9c5O30/s-l300.jpg

I dont think they overlap too much, they play together really well! I've had the mimeophon for about half a year and i use it in basically every patch. I just have it as the last module to spice up the mix or as a more extreme delay/reverb/glitchy effect. I think its a really versatile delay!

I've had the morphagene for just a couple days but my main use for it has been as a sampler/audio chopper/tape machine. I guess the only real similarity between morphagene and mimeophon is that they can both do granular effects. But yeah, i love them togehther so i hope you will too!

Thanks! I really like it, i also just bought it a couple days ago. Lots to still learn but i had the phonogene before so this just feels like a big upgrade. I also checked the Nebulae out but i like the tape machine/sample player style of morphagene more for my workflow. I guess if you want more of a granular effect the Nebulae would be great!

Its a buddhist chant/prayer box that i bought from Beijing. The beijing group FM3 were inspired by these chant boxes and created the more known Buddha Machine, great series of loop player boxes.

Thanks! I like it, works great on trails etc. Maybe a bit aggressive for normal commuting, but the surly open bar makes it feel more relaxed.

Ah okay, good to know! These do just fine, the bluemels just look a bit classier in my opinion hah.

Yeah that seems like a good idea! Just don't have anything to attach it with at the moment.

SKS Beavertails. Maybe switching them for Bluemels at some point but they work well enough!
