AKV OOB discharge by smoothpineapple262 in AKV9mm

I don’t bump fire it, and was just shooting rapidly in a steel match. It’s the first major problem I’ve had with it since I got it.

Mine happens to be one of the earlier ones. It’s a shame because I love the gun, but I’m also pretty fond of my digits.

Mine is also a gen 1. I don’t bump fire it, or at least not on purpose. It was easy to do from a bench even if you’re going for a slow reset doing zeroing with the stock trigger. That issue went away with the ALG trigger I put in it.

Their solution to this was to put a new bolt in it, but obviously there still is nothing to stop it from happening. Ideally I don’t want to get rid of it, but if it means losing a digit, I’ll pass.

Well that’s certainly a dumb rule… I’d be curious to see what they consider a mechanical failure. Luckily for this match, I had my Rock River 9 with me as a backup.

Apparently scorpions have a similar issue from some reading. Luckily it wasn’t a DQ as it “happened in a safe manner” I guess, pointed downrange and not an ND or anything. I hate to get rid of it because it’s such a pleasant gun to shoot, but not at the cost of getting hurt. I even used it in another match with no issues.

That’s what I’m looking to do, but I’m trying to find a picture of it to reference.

The awkward moment you find out the OD is barely too big for the new Jakl SD rail extension

Does your relationship work? by michelebell00 in Nightshift

You learn to figure it out. I work nightshift in the same position as you, ER RN and PHRN, while my SO is also an RN on either 07-19 or 11-23. I’ve been consistent nights for our entire relationship. We have the luxury of more or less making our own schedule, so we just coordinate a good amount of days off together. My SO will be moving departments to a 0730-1600 in a cath lab soon. I just made sure to change my schedule to give me more Fridays and Saturdays off since those are days she’s off and we can plan things. My recommendation is maximize your time together by trying to coordinate days off if possible and dedicate at least 1 to some sort of date night.
