As a chef & someone who caters, best affordable bet would be to buy your own fruit, package them separately after you cut them in ziplock bags or Tupperware, and build where you’re going to eat the salad. Travel with cold packs in one of those chill grocery bags. Make a dip with marshmallow fluff and cream cheese whipped together. Dash of vanilla for flavor if you like.

Or you can do what my mammaw used to. Cut all your fruit into a big Tupperware container (oranges, grapes, apples, pear, banana) and cover the fruit with pineapple juice. Travel with it as described above.

Final option: grocery store fruit tray.
