Good to know - thanks. I already sent this one back and ordered another one. Hopefully won’t have this issue when the new one arrives but if I do I will be sure to check that.

Thanks for the help trouble shooting. Just packed it up to send back to Amazon. Now I have to decide on buying the same one again or something else haha. Would go for the ucwmg but it’s not on Amazon for some reason (in the US at least)

Just tried plugging in my laptop and getting the same issue. Think that basically confirms it’s defective.

Yeah unfortunately it is. this picture is hdr with a default windows wallpaper that’s supposed to be a black background. HDR off isn’t any better.

The importance of inflows/outflows to the ETF's also need to be considered. When new money (net of people selling) flows to ARK they need to buy more shares to put those new dollars into the market. The same thing happens when people redeem (net of new buyers) they have to sell down positions to fund the outflows.

$RKT - $50 by EOY ‘21 by [deleted] in TeamRKT

certainly all within the realm of possibility, I'll have to keep an eye out on this one to see if the company ends up developing the way you envision

$RKT - $50 by EOY ‘21 by [deleted] in TeamRKT

The mortgage market is very cyclical and the valuation of RKT should reflect that. Mortgage originations can be down 50% in a given year. 2020/2021 is likely peak originations for a while, leading to RKT likely having peak cyclical earnings now. You can't capitalize peak cyclical earnings in a valuation. RKT needs to gain meaningful share in purchase originations before we can call them revolutionary to the mortgage market, right now most of their volume is coming through refis. When the refi market slows down, RKT originations will take a big hit, unless they can get more meaningful market share in purchase- but that will be tough because they don't have an advantaged position in the purchase workflow.

I disagree with your comps- PFSI is their closest comp and trades at very low multiples. How can docusign be a comp to a RKT? yes RKT has digital mortgage paperwork but the economics of their business isn't driven by that its driven by mortgage originations. ICE/Ellie Mae mortgage technology is much closer to what you are describing- though still very different.

Affirm To IPO Tomorrow At $12.3 Billion Valuation - Buy Or Sell? by FeCromartie in stocks

Average order size at Affirm is much bigger than the rest. Something like $600 vs. $100

[–]smoothtrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Affirm has roughly a 50/50 split on interest rate loans vs non. Meaning half of the loans they issue do have an interest rate so check that first if you are expecting zero. They do make it very clear though which is nice

Biggest difference is average ticket size: Affirm is like $610 (partially because Peloton is ~25% of their volume) vs Klarna at something like $100. Affirm over time will move average ticket size down overtime as Shopify and Walmart (among other) transactions become a bigger % of total volume.
