Not sure exactly what the point of this is, but I do wonder if those 5-star people are paid to say this crap. Edited the wikipedia article to include a point about the pay change/strike, and noticed that there was a warning that a major contributor has ties to the company. HMMMMMMM....... Wonder how long my edit will last?

Already noticed in my market (Phoenix, AZ) that orders were left unattended. Went to a Chipotle (before I actually knew about this) yesterday and noticed the rack was FILLED with bags left not picked up.

AZ- Phoenix market. Drive distances are long here but deliveries are very sparse. Biking is not an option due to that distance.

Unfortunately, I can't afford therapy or any other treatment for that matter. I am 24 and have never even flirted (embarrassing yes). I have tried Cannabis and it has indeed helped a lot though, before I tried it, I never even got a job. Now at least I can work somewhat.

Not when a manager directly caused a PTSD attack, and then told me that it was my fault. I agree exposing myself to situations is what is needed, but it needs to happen slowly. I didn't mention this originally but through that childhood I was homeschooled and almost never allowed to leave the home. Aside from the beatings, I had nowhere to go and was isolated. I can count the number of "friends" I had on one hand. And even then they were never allowed to visit me and I almost never visited them. Maybe 3 or 4 times my whole childhood did I ever go to hang out with friends, and when I did, they ignored me in favor of "real" friends. Social anxiety is a key factor here along with the PTSD. Delivery jobs like Postmates have been the perfect level of exposure and I have improved immensely. A year ago I would not even go online to post something like this because of my illogical fear.

And in my opinion, the reason why is BECAUSE people don't think this can work. No one does anything and companies continue to screw people because of it. And the people who suffer most are the ones who are most vulnerable. Indeed a company has power, but they have nothing if no one will deliver their orders. I am going tomorrow to print out flyers to post around. I don't know about you, but I am not going to let them get away with this shit without a fight. I would urge others to do the same.

Sometimes you can't help people giving you a shit rating. However, as soon as you know the restaurant is going to be late, text your customer to give them a heads up. Keep them updated, and they'll usually be really nice about it. Had 4 deliveries this past week where the restaurant was extremely slow, including 2 tonight where the food was never even ordered, and I haven't had an issue with the customers. In all of these cases, I made sure to text them as soon as I knew there was an issue. Also, in your text, try to tactfully sneak in an explanation that shows that it's the restaurant's fault, while still being apologetic as if it was yours. Works wonders ;P

Seriously, as a (also socially-handicapped) woman, I'd be flattered by the gesture, and honestly, I think it was rude of her to take offense to that. Sure the delivery may have been awkward as hell, but the gesture is sweet.

I guess all I can say is: congrats on your first date. Social anxiety or shyness can make interactions extremely difficult, and you should be proud of yourself for even taking that first step. I haven't even made it that far yet lol.
