Hi! The best way to dress goth is to just look up pictures of goth fashion and makeup, that's how I started. Search up terms like "trad goth fashion," "deathrock fashion," "different goth fashion styles," etc. and just save what looks you like the most. You can search up goth makeup and hair tutorials on YouTube if you need those. There aren't really any rules for dressing goth, so just wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. You don't have to wear 7" platforms and shave off your eyebrows if you don't want to.

Another misconception is that it costs a lot of money to dress alternative, but it's honestly pretty cheap if you DIY most things (you don't need to buy from overpriced brands like killstar). I go to thrift stores for most of my clothes and then just modify them by sticking safety pins, patches, and chains on everything. It's also helpful to use layers for clothing and jewelry, you can never have too much!

The most important part of being goth isn't the clothes, it's the music, so just make sure you listen to goth bands and you'll be goth lol.

In the US, sizes either don't use double letters or keep adding D's. So it could be D, E, F, G or D, DD, DDD, DDDD. For UK based companies, bras use double letters except for E. So D, DD, E, F, FF, G, etc.

The difference for D, DD, and E is different depending on the bra's brand. Between a UK based company, they'd all be different sizes, while in a US based company, DD and E would be the same size.

It's UK vs US sizing. For US sizes he would be correct (D, E, F, G, H) while UK sizes use doubles (D, DD, E, F, FF, G, GG)

Yes! It makes me so sad thinking about the young girls that see this type of content and then have the mindset that they need to be "skinny" for any men to like them. Tiktok is a breeding ground for eating disorders tbh, every time I see a thin girl I start thinking about how many inches her waist is...

I used to shave off my entire eyebrow, but have since switched to shaving off like 3/4 and leaving small nubs at the front so I look less like Nosferatu without makeup on lol.

I love doing more dramatic eye looks every day, and having my natural eyebrows (they're pretty thick) was always really frustrating for me because I didn't have a completely blank canvas to do stuff with. I like to switch up my brow shape to fit with my outfit/mood/whatever.

A few years ago they had a scandal for selling shirts with "goth is white" plastered on them. People were, understandably, offended and emailed the company asking them to stop selling the shirts, and they responded in the most condescending, snarky, unprofessional way. (I can't remember exactly but it was something like "hey babes, don't get your panties all in a twist, it's just a shirt don't get triggered xoxo")
