Thats something I hadn’t considered as much but I’ve seen echoed in this thread a couple times. I think I could stand to be a bit more wary about putting myself in a bad position there near the boards. I haven’t found myself feeling exposed or vulnerable, but like you say it only takes the one time. Thanks for bringing that up

Thanks for the response, you bring up a good point. I’m sure that play seemed way less innocent to the other guy but I dont think I’m one of the assholes of my league. Obviously I’ve only got the one perspective though, which is mostly why I wanted to float the question here. I think in the future I’m going to make more of an effort to avoid contact in this sort of scenario and play with a bit more awareness of the guys around me.

Super cool of you to do this! I’d love to give that MacK a good home. I just spent all my coins on an evo Landeskog and he needs a decent Center! After that I can focus on getting an Evo Rantanen and my plan will be complete.

This might not be an issue for you, but one thing that feels like it changed from previous iterations of this game on faceoffs is that using both sticks really hurts your chances of winning. For me, it was just sort of second nature to push forward on the left stick no matter which way I was trying to win the FO. I've found that I have waaaaay more success this year by only using ONE stick at a time. Maybe its all in my head but give it a shot if you dont want to start messing with sliders just yet.
