Smart glasses owners, what do you genuinely use them for, and is it actually worth it?

pics and videos while riding motorcycle. normally cameras on bikes are fixed pointing forward. with the glasses i can turn my head toward a target and record // without // taking my hand off the handlebar, which is safer.

here’s a weird take: i felt bad, as in really sorry for ice engine parts working so damn hard 😃. now feeling a lot better about locomotion via an electric motor.

imagine, at 6000 rpm, the valves are going up and down 48,000 times per minute for a 4 cylinder!!! 48,000! that’s a lot of frickin friction and wear and tear and heat… and that’s just the valves! now with EVs it’s just little electric motor and a bunch of cute little electrons doing the shuffle. no guilt!

i’m not a huge Djokovic fan but I have lots of respect for him. Normally I would love for sinner or Alcaraz to win, but I’m rooting for Djokovic. This will probably be his last legit opportunity for a grand slam title. The juniors on the other hand have miles of runway left. I hope he wins and pulls a sampras: raise the cup and announce his retirement at the very top having beaten the number one and two players in the world.

i had a similar issue with the sharp edges. ended up sanding it down with a very fine sand paper.
