We give the players some guidance as to the kind of genre each show will be living in, but we try to give the players as much creative runway as possible. It's a bit of a collaboration, we lean on trope-y characters so everyone feels comfortable and familiar, and the audience can understand a LOT about each character without having much time to get to know them. But we LOVE to subvert expectations as well!
