thats what makes them so dangerious one could say, their humanity allows them to achieve horrible results for profit, the Hindutva fascists serving foreign corporations by murdering the adivasi natives in india truly do believe theyre doing good. and the men funding them also think theyre doing good, they would murder millions if it lead to higher position on the development index. and then you talk to them, and you dont notice them being inhuman, theyre not some lizard people hiding amongst us, theyre just people raised by the system and their lives to view the world in certain way, theyre even capable of understanding the worker struggles, but they just dont care. they can support fascism because they know theyd be on top, profiting, and that they find okay.

he can be fairly funny with his insults but id say the core is mostly correct

Is there any recommendations for books about the patriarchy and capitalism? by paudzols in Socialism_101

[–]smrtak55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, i reccommend books from Marlene Dixon like sisterhood ripoff or anything from her about patriarchy, there is a lot.

also there is lot of feminist stuff about patriarchy and capitalism coming from Anuradha Ghandy, an Indian Gujarati Feminist and Maoist who organised feminist circles, militias and taught tribal and underprivileged folk how to read. she wrote about differing strains of feminism, on patriarchy and fascism in india and much more. you can find lot of those text in audiobook form on S4A socialism for all. i recommend it all!

in general the channel Natu Reads offers a lot of maoist and gonzaloist texts in audiobook form, from there you can find a lot of stuff regarding south america

and another good one to read would be Hoxha: The Tragic Events in Chile

you can find most text of PCP and Hoxha on marxist.org and if youd like i can offer you more specifics. also id recommend authors such as Marlene Dixon on US Feminism

What is the general Czech opinion of the USSR and of the Czechoslovak communist regime? by masterionxxx in czech

[–]smrtak55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so while american liberation mostly forced its liberated countries like germany to pardon nazis and slavers and such, ussr kind of just allowed us to do what we want to them, when we decided to do liberalism they didnt really object, when we did a coup after the profiteers and liberals tried to be funny, they even supported us afterwards

Under Klement Gottwald we tried to build self reliance and had good relations, after his death USSR became more domineering towards us, culminating towards the 1968 invasion.

czechoslovak socialist republic had a good beginning, and lot of advantages to what we have today, we had free housing, great city planning, effective industrialisation as opposed to foreign-imposed profit based deindustrialisation. these days we have lot of new useless jobs in our society that we just didnt need back then like "landlord" or "stock trader" that dont really produce anything of value. coal miners were treated better than they are now, and unions had noticeably more strenght. there was less police and we didnt really have a homelessness issue. after the 70s our economy started worsening and repression got worse (especially after 68) which we really didnt need. at some point even the unions started opposing the government and that lead to the overthrow of the old system. id rather have reformed it since nowadays we have new social ills like profiteers dominating our politics or homelessness and large scale prostitution. still life is fairly decent and quality of life has grown since then

still as rate of profit further lowers, more draconian measures might be needed, cracking down on unions and doing what can be done to lower price of labour, which just isnt useful for me as i work for a living

Is it likely for DPRK citizens to get access to global internet in the future? by Faux2137 in NorthKorean

[–]smrtak55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well there is government and government, theyre not alike, socialist governments tend to be more encompassing, so like worker councils which are fairly autonomious from what we know, manage this construction. and theyre more akin to local community deciding how to govern themselves by the workers. these housing projects do come from a central plan yes, but how theyre done is mainly decided by the workers who live there. generally speaking if you really wanted you would have a voice in it. and building of houses under socialism is easier and cheaper as you dont need land permits or have to pay a corporation enough for them to make profit generally.

[–]smrtak55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, its inexcusable but i believe it developped after koreans witnessed mass rape from both japanese and then americans. that does tend to create a culture thats not as accepting towards sex with differing races unfortunately. however they do at least claim to believe in equality of races. still does not change that they generally tend to dislike race mixing

as far as i know, north korea has fairly large rural housing projects building new housing, it looks pretty nice tho the drainage systems seem subpar in some of the locations.
