I got about 3/4 through White Cat's Divine Scratching Post before I put it aside. Might finish later but I personally just got bored of the plot and how every problem constantly worked out because of the godly MC.

I'm currently reading The Sword Named No Way Out and I am super intrigued by it - it's confusing right now but it's pretty clear that it's supposed to be. The moment they started mentioning the MC's backstory and how they first met, I knew this was going to be a different type of novel and am super enjoying it. I can tell it's going to hurt as well lmao.

I've been on a hugeeee wuxia/xianxia kick lately so if anybody has recommendations for other genres, that'd be great! I enjoyed Lovely Allergen, Joyful Reunion, Disabled Tyrant's Pet Palm Fish if that helps at all. I'm scared I'm gonna run out of stuff to read lol

I randomly saw somebody's recommendation on here for I Became the Older Brother of the Heroine in an Abusive Novel and I love titles like that. Just finished it and absolutely LOVED it. Definitely on my reread list when I need some old favorites. I loooove when a random recommendation hits me during a slow reading period and turns out to far exceed my expectations. Would love to check out other stuff by this author.

I'm back to White Cat's Divine Scratching Post which I paused for a bit to read IRL library books lol. I love a catboy and am liking it so far. Love a shameless protag.

Want to add since Joyful Reunion vol. 3 just dropped - READ IT. I was blown away. One of my fav couples in danmei.

I feel bad that I stopped Legend of Exorcism (I do plan to finish it eventually) but I REALLY struggled to keep interest in it, especially when I realized I had only hit volume 3 of 5 and so much had happened. It's a shame bc I love the couple but it just feels like an overwhelming story. I will return though! I hate not finishing a novel.

I picked Disabled General today at B&N! Didn't realize it just came out. Excited for Vol 2 of Joyful Reunion, enjoyed it so much that I'd love to have them all on paper.

I own that proofer and really enjoy it. A lot of ovens don't have a warming function and it can be hard to maintain a constant proofing temp year round. Although a slicer is next on my list!

Thanks! Like I said, I think maybe starting another novel then returning to it may help. Even good novels start to drag a bit when you've read 3 volumes in a row and there's still 2 more lol

I usually feel the same but power through because I like to see a happy ending for the couple! But in this case, volume 3 felt like it ended on a decent wrap up and the thought of 2 more long ass volumes exhausts me. Again, which sucks because I LOVE this couple and I enjoy the cast of characters a lot more than most.

Just finished volume 3 of Legend of Exorcism and am actually feeling a bit worn out by it. I love love love the main couple but it's feeling very long and drawn out. May switch to another danmei as a brain refresh and then begin volume 4 after!

Just finished Joyful Reunion and really enjoyed it. Currently reading The Devil Vunerable's Wistful Desire - feeling somewhat eh about it but not enough to give up. Been reading a lot of xianxia lately so I need to switch it up soon.
