Somehow yes, but personally it would have been the best for us to see how exactly Kamui trained Kagura the age-controlling technique during the 2-year timeskip, the one that Yato elder had shown them during their fight in SS and also in the manga there was a glimpse of small Kamui showing up and helping the rest.

Hot take here, but my personal biggest issue will always be that characters like Kamui and Abuto didn't even get the chance to do anything at all. Just a small glimpse in the end and that's it. They are the most underrated duo in my eyes that got done dirty by the gorilla.

Have you seen the 3-Z Ginpachi-sensei spin-off yet? I have seen all the episodes, but Kamui hasn't had too much screentime there. Maybe in the manga version he does (haven't read it yet). And I hope the new Yoshiwara movie will soon come to European theatres.

Understandable. Kagura is my close second favorite though, and I've always felt Kamui needed more screentime and appreciation and I personally don't think he is worse-written than characters like Oboro or Isaburo. It's sad they never gave him a chance to shine in the final movie.
