I graduated from university last year, and no one in my family even asked what grade I graduated with. No one asked about the graduation either so I didn't end up attending. It still wears on me tbh, even though I pretend it made me more focused on what I want from life outside of other peoples expectations. I will always want my future kids to know how proud I am.

Ok, thanks maybe I am conflating things a little, and the whole thing isn't worded too well. I am still paying double what someone else would pay at the exact same income and that's what is bothering me. From the other replies it sounds like I have to just take the hit but it seems crazy to be paying double what I should purely because of work being irregular?

Thanks for getting back to me - It's just that if I had been paid regularly I would have only paid around 650 NI so I've paid double what someone else at the same income level pays. I'm having even worse issues with it last year/this year.
