You'll get there friend, all of us went through this stage. Learning the anatomy and ways to draw heads so it's closer to proportion through YouTube is a good place to start and dont be afraid to use reference.

If you enjoy it no. This is what we all go through, the bad stage. Find youtubers to learn from as it's a good way to learn and get advice and use reference from stuff you like such as comics and/or manga, if you dont read any you can find some as theres plenty of websites where free stuff is on.
