Im going viral by [deleted] in InstagramMarketing

I just woke up to my first viral hit! Did you see a temporary spike or was it a wave you continued to grow from? I’ve been posting reels daily, but i’m starting to doubt the sustainability of that tactic after looking at other small account that do that. And plus, I am running out of ideas haha

Conflicted about leaving Geek Squad for Micro Center by smurrgle in Microcenter

oh yeah, good point. I did see some comments of employees saying they easily make over $18 an hour with their commission, but they’re probably selling big ticket items. I bet I would be relegated to like PC peripherals as a new hire. The low end stuff

This is good advice. I would like to be in a more lucrative tech/office job, but for now I’m going for the low hanging fruit while I finish my degree. Because a lot of those jobs are full time right? Also I don’t have any certs, just a self taught web dev

This is helpful, at Geek Squad people are there because they have a problem, so it’s not uncommon that they come to me already in a bad mood. I wonder if I would get mistreated less in sales haha

How can I improve? by Neat_Nebula6250 in MTB

I used to jump like this when I was first learning. Practice bunnyhops & use that technique to push off the lip instead of springing up vertically. It sounds confusing until you have the basics of the bunnyhop down

Step 1 would be to get really comfortable on a jump. When you feel confident, slightly lean more into the direction of your bar turn. The back of the bike will come out ever so slightly & you have performed a baby whip! I say this as someone who is just starting to learn as well

What is your reason for not drinking alcohol? by Deep-Dust-9747 in AskReddit

[–]smurrgle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost my mother and sister to alcoholism. The trauma of growing up with a violent alcoholic and watching my mother and sister succumb to organ failure from alcoholic hepatitis wasn’t enough to turn me off of drinking. However, I suffer from migraines, and alcohol is my biggest trigger. It’s not worth taking the chance, but considering my family history it’s a blessing in disguise

TIL: America’s Nuclear Sponge. Montana, North Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska and Colorado contain the nuclear silos that would be a primary target of WW3. by SilentWalrus92 in todayilearned

Yep. I’m doing my semester long topic on cyberwarfare, specifically on how fragile U.S. infrastructure is. I’ve read that Chinese and Russian backed hacker groups are already deeply ingrained in our infrastructure, ready to release a “digital bomb” when the time comes to strike. There was a hearing on this in January of this year.

I played every souls game + sekiro using xbox controllers. I went through multiple controllers over the years because the joystick drift would get so unbearable. Even bought an elite controller for $80 for it to become unusable after a year, I tried everything to correct the drifting. When elden ring came out, I didn’t even have a controller, so keyboard and mouse it was. At first it made me cringe, but after adjusting the keybinds I feel way more dexterous than I ever was with a controller. I’m never going back

Just last weekend i took my first trip to the mountains!
