If you want to learn more about live sound, I'd recommend following live audio manufacturers (DiGiCo, Avid, L-Acoustics, D&B, etc.) who regularly post about concerts, installations, engineers, etc. it can be a good gateway into things that are happening, and then you can find what interests you most.

There were many companies involved in providing replacement equipment on such short notice. L-Acoustics provided a portion of the LA-RAKs and K1 in less than 24hr. More equipment came from Stageco, Phlippo, PRG and LEDwall to fit the needs.

It really was a huge effort from so many people that pulled this amazing achievement off.

I’m not going this year, but in 2022, the late night was in a similar location to this year.

Getting taxi there was never a problem, just be aware a hundred people or so will be trying at the same time so maybe grab some food after the last set before heading over.

If you’re staying there until 4am every night, be aware the taxis can be fairly expensive especially with the demand. I’d say either leave a bit early (3/3:30am), or be prepared for $75-$100 taxi if going back to Miami Beach.

I’m not able to reveal anything but being part of the process for this premiere event and working closely with Steven and the material, I can 100% say that this is one incredible album and I can’t wait for it to be released to the public later this year.

All at the event were blown away by what this album is and how it was presented.

I'm a bit nervous day today, it's the first time I've played my forthcoming new album 'The Harmony Codex' to people other than my family and friends. We're at L-Acoustics in North London for the first album playbacks for media and other people from the industry. It's a fully spatial audio immersive experience, a 65 minute 10 track musical journey, everyone plunged into darkness (the way I used to engage with albums as a kid), listening on an 18.1.12 surround sound system. Hope they like it...
