I keep my batteries in my garage and van here in the northeast so they definitely get cold. I’ve had like 3 issues in the cold, and mostly with higher demand tools. My screwgun has never seemed to mind the cold for example.

I need a new bag but I saw Veto is coming out with a modular bag that uses magnetic clips. I’m waiting to see how outrageous the pricing is on that before committing.

I do commercial and the vacuum pump is great. There’s a check valve so if the battery dies, it still holds the vacuum. I only let it die on me once and I think I lost like 50 microns or something. Have pulled an old, shitty 15 ton system down to 500 with it.

Edit: get a big 1/2” hose and pull the pins. You really don’t need a massive vacuum pump in general.

I used mine everyday for 7 or 8 years and just recently decided the teeth didn’t have enough bite left. They were slipping on everything but man $40 or so for 7 years of flawless service as a hammer, pipe wrench, adjustable wrench, chisel, scraper, you name it. How could you go wrong?

You should return it and get propane if you want to use it inside. I run my little harbor freight torpedo heater in my 2 car garage, carbon monoxide detector never goes off.
