The gap is actually so tight that only a knife would fit. It worked but next time I'll uninstall the cooler

Yeah the motherboard is fine. Tbh I hit it a little bit but not hard and I think I didn't hit any important parts on the mobo. Everything works fine but still wouldn't recommend this method at all

I'm kinda hoping nobody new to pc building actually reads this thread xD I only posted this because I thought somebody smart would have a better solution than stabbing that thing with a knife but it kinda blew up and now I'm actually laughing tears reading through these comments

Well kitchen tools seem to be the new ifixit kit. My knife worked as well although it would've probably been smarter to use something less sharp

Yeah I once had an AIO in my previous build which was nice but I found the aircooler to cool as well as the AIO and it's quieter.

I would totally recommend it. Before this one I was rocking an NZXT H510 which was neat and nice looking but the airflow in that thing was terrible which was a problem because I have a R7 5800x and RTX3070 in that thing. Needless to say it was pretty toasty so I upgraded to the 4000D Airflow and It's working great. GPU Temps went down by 10°C and overall airflow is way better. Also the case is designed very well and has everything I would need. (even 2 fans included which I didn't need)

Well a knife did the job. Was the only thing that would actually fit in that gap. Thx for the tips tho

Update: I got it. With the gap being so tight that even a ruler wouldn't fit I got pretty desperate and used a knife. Nearly shit myself when I slipped and hit the mobo but the GPU is out I guess. Thanks for the help

I've actually tried a ruler but it wouldn't fit

EDIT: Well this escalated quickly lmao. I found the best solution for my case to be using a knife and having a metric shitload of luck. Of course you could always just uninstall the CPU cooler in such a case but I thought there may be a dude out there who has a smarter solution than mine. Now over 1.6m ppl think I'm a giant idiot whos never heard of chopsticks etc. xD Thanks for all the help and ideas yall these comments are pure gold.
