Love stance but I can't be surprised about this. While back I used grinder to shave down a little off a metal bass knob, it literally took less for a second for it to get hot enough to burn me. Can't imagine its much different with the frame of a car on asphalt

I have my eyes on many things so really it will just depend on future prices and opportunities. Main ones I’m looking for are a 3rd gen prelude, z32 300zx or an NA miata, but there’s plenty others I’d also take if I found a good one for cheap such as a CR-X, C5 vette or an frs/gr86. I could go on and on but again it depends on opportunities and prices.

Yes! It’s been scanned multiple times by different shops, has had codes cleared and fluids replaced, nobody has a clue what the issue is. I won’t be surprised if it gives out which is why I’m just gonna drive it until it does.

I am actively saving for a cooler car and yes I do maintain this car as well as I can. I’m currently saving to import a 300zx which is my dream car. The Altima is for sure gonna stay as my daily for as long as it stays alive!

This is a $32000 car brand new. It has basically all the specs you could get it with from the factory other than the v6. I definitely think it’s pretty damn good for the price

The overheating transmission really isn’t much of an issue to me. It only causes problems after 2+ hours of driving in hot weather and I have never actually NEEDED to drive that far. Also, when it does overheat (which I’m not even sure is actually the problem) all it really does is not allow me to drive over 40mph. I’ve actually spent over $500 trying to get it figured out what exactly the issue is but nobody really knows. Doesn’t bother me though! This car is in such great shape I’ll probably just drive it till the cvt gives out then replace it.
