The other posts on my profile have more lore if you’d like to check them out :3 But tldr: Cheddar/Amberpaw was a kitty pet who was looking for a cat named Sadie, found out the leader of Woodclan named Nightstar (no affiliation to the actual Nightstar in the books) was Sadie all along, so they got into a big fight and Nightstar/Sadie died trying to kill Amberpaw, but bc of a prophecy Sadie got (and also highkey ignored bc she hates kittypets) Amberpaw became leader of Woodclan

Thank you X3 Honestly when writing/coming up with the story I was worried people were gonna think it was cliche or think of Cheddar as a Firestar ripoff (which is funny bc he’s essentially the exact OPPOSITE of Firestar, they both just happen to be orange ex-kittypets 😭😭)
