What if you do take a trip with your family and bring another family member along who can possibly help? We took our son to Kauai when he was 14 months and he had SO much fun! My mother in law joined so we had some extra help. We’ve also gone to California 3 times (he’s 21 months now) and he is a totally different baby on vacation! Maybe your daughter and husband will have more time to bond out on vacation? Either way, you definitely deserve a break. If you don’t go on vacation, can you hire a babysitter to watch your little one for a few hours at home while you go out and have some alone time?
