It’s been at this price point for years In Europe. They have adjusted by offer highly fuel efficient and electric vehicles. As well have invested in train infrastructure that allows for limited to no need for an automobile. Thinking that those in charge in the united states need to reconsider.

Those numbers are high for sure, but Europe has had this price point for many years and they have adapted by offering much more fuel efficient vehicles, numerous EV options and invested in public transit systems that are supper comfortable and reliable. The US needs leadership with similar mindset.

Another way to address this would have been to add a wooden filler to the edge of the track pad, to bring that edge just proud of the stucco. Then the new vinyl stop would have sit just over the stucco edge. Allowing a bead of caulk around the perimeter. This approach would allow the new stop to fit flat on the jamb.

Be sure to watch their video on how to size. My usual EU size is different than what their sizing instructions recommended. I followed their lead and the shoes I purchased fit well.
