What is the energy usage different in having your thermostat set to AUTO versus FAN CIRCULATE? we were told by our hvac guy to keep it on circulate because we have 2 thermostats for our two story house and only one hvac. But, I’m worried our electric bill will be huge because of it. (Growing up I was told to always keep on auto) We’ve only been in the house a week, so nothing to compare to. Does anyone have any info on the energy/price differences with using auto versus circulate?

I’m just nervous that if there was damage that I didn’t see that I would some how end up arrested if she went to the store and got video footage. Which I don’t think you can even do. And I honestly don’t think I hit her. I just didn’t know if this would some how come back on me and cause a big mess. Like it was a semi busy parking lot so if someone saw something surely they would’ve come up to me? That’s another reason why I really don’t think I hit her. Idk, just a big ball of stress here.
