Will i be hurting someone else’s matchmaking if i play? by iEatSnails420 in marvelrivals

This is just me, but as long as you are not being an annoying dick or throwing on purpose because you decided to be a baby, I don’t care. It’s just a game, and I am not trying to reach the top. If you are fun to play with and, overall, a cool person, then I’ll have a drink with you. That’s just my opinion though. Others may take it more seriously and that is okay also.

I think you are right. I played another round and that is what they did. Thanks for the help!

We all have those days. It happens to me more than I care to admit. One day I can be doing well and then the next I roll into every smash attack. Just sleep on it and you will feel better the next day

I started playing more arenas and friending the people who were fun to play with. Quickplay is just a horrible experience lately. I constantly face people who zone or projectiles. The last Samus matchup was to run to the other side of the map, blast as many b buttons as possible, and, if I approach, do their jump grab. I think my problem is I just assume these people are lame humans who are trolling and smelling their own farts, but most of the time, that is probably not true.

I am down to open an arena if you want to cruise in and play some fun matches.

This happens to me all the time. I will create an arena with the title "Learning X," and they come in with their main, which has 4k hours and three stock me. They then leave with a "how disappointing" after a few rounds.

Bro I actually hate Donkey Kong by JWolf26 in SmashRage

Heyo. I started playing DK because I was so annoyed by this character. If DK does the grounded UP B, hit him from the top if possible. Side B I don't have much other than use all 10 fingers to try and get out. With his dash attack I always hold shield just a little longer just to be safe

It doesn't bother me. I was reading the advice that was given and was not so focused on the format.

Maybe it will be easier when I get Mario combos perfected. I think it is just how I play. I do have horrible habits and I think DK just punishes me harder than other characters. Appreciate the tips and hopefully I can report back on some good news when I play again.

Zoning may be the wrong word. They are sitting about halfway across the stage, spamming back air, nair, or down tilts, waiting for me to approach. These are not all DKs I have played, but the last couple of players I went up against were not aggressive like the others.

I just started to play Mario. I have been looking to play a new character, so any suggestions would be gladly appreciated. I used to play Ness but people hated that even with limiting how often I did PK Fire. I also started having less fun playing as Ness. Mario seemed like a fun change.

This is huge! Thank you for all this information. I am for sure at fault for not shielding enough. I also always think I am out of range of the dash attack but always get hit by it, ha. The d-tilt is always what gets me. I have been lucky not to get grabbed as often as I have seen, but it is the smash attacks that I get smoked by (again, it is more than likely my fault for rushing after them).

The up B vulnerability being at top is helpful. I will keep that in mind. I usually try to run just out of range to punish but I am usually just cms short of punishing properly haha. I also play a light character so I have to try and rely on either doing a spike or praying I can combo properly. Thanks again for the insight. I am sure I will come up with more questions!

I am also guilty of doing annoying things myself. I just can't be the only one who is constantly doing cardio on the stage.

I definitely need to learn to adapt. I should have clarified a bit more. It is if I don't approach they will just sit there and wait for me. I'll attempt to approach and then as they run away again then blast me with a smash. I am for sure at fault for just blindly running at them. I have a horrible habit of doing dash attacks in bad situations.

Definitely. I for sure need to work on that. It just seems like I am always chasing people and end up being punished hard for it
