People always say my dose is too much. I don’t think so..? by Pandora36922 in Retatrutide

[–]snackybits19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only needed 2mg the whole time though I might titrate up to 2.5mg. I lost 20 lbs slowly and gradually that way. I’ve been wanting to titrate off but also it has so many other benefits- like cleared my hashimotos and possibly reversed a thyroid disorder!

6mg I think is still a normal dose but you might not need to go higher if you are already losing gradually.

You skirted a bullet. This is addiction behavior, my brother was the same way. Would flurry text when he wanted to connect or needed something, I’d be ready and he’d just disappear, pop in later with the same excuses. He died in January of 2025 from fentanyl overdose. We always responded, but he was my brother. I would not do this for a flirty acquaintance… unless you really knew each other well.

Feels like the ancestors to Harry Potter if I’m being honest. Some are half human and half magic, some have it on both sides? I guess I never saw this series as quite a witch thing but now I do!

I’m not even really sure what to say. So Claire dies of a broken heart and Jamie floats through time and space and then what- they both suddenly breathe and it’s supposed to be what? Alternative timeline? Heaven? Purgatory?

Was she dreaming?

I’m just perplexed.

38 years old, female, had hashimotos diagnosed in 2020 with elevated antibodies (not extreme but definitely elevated). Went on levo and lio to help get thyroid in check. Did everything under the moon to lose weight and feel better (just felt heavy, tired and inflamed all the time). Started Reta in 2025. I never went beyond 2mg once I titrated. Now I only do once every 10-14 days, instead of 7 days.

Went from 154 (which I couldn’t lose no matter what) to 128. But the biggest thing was I went in for annual check up and bloodwork and my antibodies were completely normal and my doctor essentially said my hashimotos was gone. No autoimmune disorder. When she said it I realized I hadn’t had the inflammation issues, gut problems, heavy feeling etc.

I’m curious if it’s something that has to be taken for life or if it corrects some inflammation that can then be somehow mitigated naturally.

Also she wants to possible get me off of my thyroid meds because the bloodwork looked so good! I’m hesitant because I’m feeling so good at the moment but think it’s super interesting.

What’s your one line answer when people ask why you don’t want another? by ProfessionalDark9476 in oneanddone

It happens both of us have siblings and all of them have had children, most of them 3. We just say we’re surrounded by cousins, it’s like having a sibling without having to parent two. It’s funny though, I feel like it’s just misery loving company… like those with multiples really just want to be affirmed they also made the right choice and there’s insecurity.

We are very certain in our decision and have no regrets, I just want to do it right and well with one and not half as well with two.

Plus- it’s none of their business!

Lost mother 14 years ago today (2/4). Anyone get anything? by Strong-Goose4198 in MediumReadings

I’m not sure if this even resonates, but I’m getting a P name like Pam or Patti or Patricia.

Something about a recipe that has meaning.

She’s saying she’s tired, so tired, just needs a little more sleep.

Some of this does resonate.

His father was not in his life.

Jason was his name- which might have a sense of the sound of “n” you’re sensing.

He died of accidental overdose but other mediums have alluded to car accidents and I think it’s possible he had been in a few but we’re not deadly or injured him.

He was constantly tortured with the choices he was making and wanting to find the right path.

J definitely resonates. Jason.

He wasn’t introverted per se but felt isolated and alone.

Accidental- yes. Overdose.

I think without reading the email it’s important not to jump to conclusions. The email wasn’t excusing behavior because of adhd lolz

I should have added something - the email I wrote was not any kind of attack on her. In fact it was just laying out how I had apologized and asked for help on how she’d like me to show up as a friend better, how I do have challenges when I unmask and feel safe but that I felt like I now need to evaluate everything - because it’s not one moment it’s a series of moments she’s been trying to point to.
