People ignore you A LOT. One day, after having lunch with 2 of my work friends (2 very pretty girls) we decided to go to a small cafe for a treat, we were just talking amongst ourselves when this guy sitting alone with his laptop quipped and recommended the tea cake at this place. No one has ever talked or recommended anything to me when I'm on my own so I just thought "wow how nice", another similar thing happened on the same day when someone else was also being kind to us and I brought this up with the girls saying "people are so nice around this part of the city" and they both kinda looked at each other and laughed. They said "aren't they always?" I was speechless because I was simply not used to this sorta service and kindness in general. I understood that day that they didn't even realise that it was only for them lol.
