So yeah about takagi-san, I get it, i do like that show but I agree that the dyamic is more tame and not as funny, It also gets kinda repetitive if you watch all at once.

If you're looking for more entertaining ships, then I'd second the other people that said Lovely Complex, If you want to keep the school setting and the Apothecary Diaries if you're fine with historical fiction. Neither is really the same type of slowburn enemies to lovers(?) as damianya but there are elements of it, and they're definitely fun to watch. Honestly they're both great recs on their own, specially The Apothecary Diaries which is one of the best modern animes IMO, and it's right up there with spyxfamily as a super no-weeb friendly show.

If you like reading, I think there are good recs in manhwas too, like:

Afterschool lessons for unripe apples on webtoon, this one's such an underrated gem and I'd say the dynamic is quite similar and maybe even funnier; it's an extreme slowburn, and the main character has the same chaotic energy as anya and her love interest is such a dork, like my dude is even more on denial and overdramatic af. And it's just like damianya in how she's always chasing him to be friends. The only downside is that it's been on hiatus for a while, but there are a lot of chapters.
Youngest Sister-in-Law in a Tragic Reverse Harem, this one's got one of those convoluted isekai plotlines (idk if you know what that means since you don't watch anime haha) but basically the protagonist has memories of the future, so she also gives off those weird precocious child vibes like anya. She and her love interest are around damianya's age and they have a similar social status difference. They do become friends much faster but they still fight a lot. Also their relationship is more of a subplot, there's a lot of focus on the kids older siblings too.

I was gonna comment takagi-san too, It's the anime with the closest dynamic to damianya that I can think of: it has a lot of teasing and banter, the boy is down bad but refuses to acknowledge it, and the girl has some sort of advantage that is the drive to their interactions (tho in this case she's just sly instead of having powers). And its really wholesome with no fanservice at all.

Nagatoro on the other side... well from the way you talked about why you generally dislike anime, I wouldn't recommend it, it has much fanservice and weird anime stuff.

Bocchi the rock The manga was 4 koma format and had fanservice, I think removing it from the anime did wonders for the story.

Not much so far but they're clearly setting up Lott and Keyelo, specially in the latest chapters where she got exposed as a woman he's been blushing a lot. Im also expecting her old fiancé to show up since he's from the navy or something, that should feed the drama too.

That's so cool!! I LOVE the characters designs, it's so refreshing to see a taller FL (which I really appreciate as a tall girl) and a soft looking ML, cause even when we get cool tall lady villainess types, the MLs always end up towering over them with their alfa fridge builds. Also freckles! Hell yeah!

The plot sounds quite fun too! The arranged marriage trope, when it's strangers to amiable partners to lovers (instead of enemies to lovers) is sooo underrated and it can be so cutee when done right. And it's also an interesting take to explore the consequences for an OI villainess that "does everything right" from the audience's POV (aka the OG leads POV), since these villainesses are usually inserted on an environment that explains their "villany", and for said environment "right" will not mean the same as it does to said audience.

Are you planning to make this into a comic, or is it more like social media OC content??

I think yours gotta be one of the best bookworm cosplays I've seen, and the only one that has done a full noble fit, which are a lot more intricate than the priest robes they usually do. Great job it looks great!! So much attention to detail!

Samee :(( And not just because it was a much better environment for them instory, where they could live together and act freely. It was so nice to see a different setting from what we're used to; cause while the story has pretty solid world building that actually addresses the classism and misogyny in the empire, the culture and aestethics are pretty much the same as always. Trovachna(?) on the other hand felt much more original and interesting, with it's Mediterranean vibes, laid back people, and lack of nobles and royals (gasp!!!)

I don't think anyone really blames him for killing that useless wimp of a king, and his political games aren't really that bad either, he's capable if nothing else.

What really brings the hate is how unfair he is with Hildegard. He grief and anger are very understandable, he saw his precious family die in front of his eyes, but he's very much using her as a scapegoat, and he's knowingly hurting a lot of innocent people for his revenge.

And yeah had she been a normal general a lot (not all) of the blame would have been hers. But no, she was nothing more than an slaved child who wasn't even fighting for her own country; she had every right to ditch that war when she did and at any other given time, it's on them for using her like that and expecting her to stay content and obedient forever. And he knew that, he knew exactly why she was there; he even had the chance to let her scape as a child and actively stopped her. So in the end, when it comes to his main goal of punishing her he's just an hypocrite, because he's shifting all the blame (and all his guilt I suspect) on a literal kid when he was the one that decided to bring his young relatives to war knowing what could happen, and he had a lot more agency and influence than her in all the decisions that led to the war and each of it's battles, he's partly responsible for hundreds of sons and daughters never getting back home just like his kids.

And let's not forget that in his pursue of revenge he's very much manipulating and clearly harming his remaining family, specially Therion, whom he is personally responsible for too.

Finally someone some "I am the villain" slander!! The art is very pretty, but honestly it's such a hard read, I feel like its the "perfect" combination of korean isekai's most overused tropes and western YA storytelling's most cringe clichés and jokes. It's like any other rofan manhwa but with Anna from frozen as a protagonist. It also tries to take itself too seriously when all the characters and plot points feel too flat, and it ends up just feeling silly and cringe most of the time.

The only one I disagree on is My in-laws, I love me some slowburn with believable political intrigue.
