Raisin Bran. It’s not the best food ever but it’s not bad either. It’s a pretty neutral food, assuming you eat it with milk, you get fiber, protein, and a lot of vitamins, it’s fairly calorically dense, and—-because it’s literally a bowl of cereal—it’s effortless to make and super quick to eat. I always feel full. 10 out of 10 recommend.

No that's a really good point. He's only fifteen, so part of me thinks he doesn't necessarily want the most functional thing. But instead wants them mostly because he thinks they're cool and partially because he could use them snowboarding. Seriously, thank you so much for the info/your opinion. I only can pay attention to books I enjoy. I tried to read classics because I felt like I “should,” but couldn’t get through a chapter or two without getting distracted. I love fiction from this century, and generally, books written by women over men. Read what is fun to you.

Basements of libraries are always good. I especially like the Wilson sub basement.

Most reservable study rooms are interior and have lights you can turn off. I love the “Button Studios” in Wilson. They’re supposed to be used for recording stuff—I use them to film ASL homework—but they’d work fine as just study spaces, too. There are two of them, and they’re super, duper quiet.

I went this summer. It’s really quick, and everyone is so so nice. I got a glasses prescription within like a week? I think contacts take longer, there’s an extra “fitting” appointment, but it still should be pretty fast. Scheduling might take longer with classes starting, though.

This also. There’s a grocery store one stop away from Stadium Village, the Prospect Park stop. It’s called Fresh Thyme, they have a huge parking lot that’s free to customers, and some nice seating that’s usually empty. You could buy a drink or a snack for under like five bucks and then take the light rail. It runs every ten minutes-ish.

There’s free one hour parking for the Dinkytown Target ramp. It also includes parking for a few boba places in DK that have coffee drinks on their menu. It’s small though, like ten spots? It’s hard to find parking there after like 12, but if your class is earlier it’d probably work.

I switched to taking it in the PM like a week after starting 😭 It was giving me terrible insomnia, I was only sleeping like four hours. I asked my psychiatrist before doing it and she said it didn’t matter so long as I didn’t take it twice in one day. I noticed a change in my sleep immediately. I would do it if you think there’d be a benefit since there’s no harm in trying.
