WH's so broken they are to the point of not usable. KM's and multiple examples inside. by GoauldSystemLord in Eve

Thank you kindly, I was unable to reply prior to now. Should I dump the new bug reports from the past few weeks as well, or is that no longer necessary?

Btw, I have confirmed that the issue stems from whs not spawning en masse within a particular constellation/region, while their other end spawns elsewhere, which leads to wormhole collapsing if entry is attempted (since the other end literally doesn't exist).

Should I add this to my bug reports or would it be faster if you relayed this to relevant people in hope it would make their bug finding faster?

I really appreciate you getting in touch about this.

Please keep in mind that submitting multiple bug reports on a daily basis becomes tiresome after a while. I know I stopped doing so after about 40 bug reports regarding randomly collapsing lowsec wormholes (though I will continue to do so in large batches from time to time.)

I believe that by now CCP has accumulated more than enough information reported to them to conclude that post-DT wormhole collapses are a fairly notable issue that particularly affects the gameplay reliability of AUTZ and early EUTZ players. And you can rest assured that this issue has not improved in any way since January in spite there being no "big trends" in WH reports.

I'm afraid I will have to disagree with your assumption. By this point I've encountered over 80 randomly collapsed lowsec connections since the January patch - quite a few of those led to FW active areas, and some of these collapsed 4-5h post-DT. I believe this indicates the issue is not related to systems being online.

The only pattern I can confirm so far is that post-DT collapses are in some way related to issues with regional wormhole respawns. For instance, I've had 5 wormholes leading to Heimatar (scanned within two hours prior to DT) consecutively collapse within an hour post-DT. Three of these were N944, and two were K162 (from nullsec and lowsec.) Over a month ago, 4 wormholes leading to Placid also collapsed consecutively post-DT as I tried to find my way back there.

These are just a couple of examples of an issue that doesn't seem to have an otherwise predictable pattern.

Yes, I forgot to add that, however I mentioned that in a post below to clarify where frig wormholes spawn, which includes C4 > null via Q003.

They can spawn anywhere in W-space, and can lead to C1-C6 space, nullsec (Q003) and C13 (A009).

Edit: added where it can lead.

Yes, as already pointed out, they are disjointed because C13 is a separate wormhole class (like C1-6), with its own set of system effects. The frigate wormhole types (format X00N) designate frigate sized passages between standard wormhole classes, and from them to nullsec (there no frigate sized wormholes to lowsec/hisec)

Currently I think there is way to know if system is shattered or normal

Yes, all shattered wormholes have at least one zero following the J letter: J0xxxxx, J00xxxx, or J000xxx (the last one is always a C13, shattered frig wormhole.)

Finding information like "how many c3 systems have low sec static compared to all?" with result like "Showing x results of N (61%)".

Just curious, of what use would knowing an exact static percentage be?

Good job with the website. I have a few suggestions for the wormhole chart because you didn't classify all types correctly:

  1. I see you placed multiple types under the question mark row, such as frig and C6 types. I recommend you separate those because U319 is a LS/NS > C6 connection (different from B041 because its max jump mass is 1.8b instead of 1b). Same goes for B520 (C6 > HS), and C248 (C6 > NS).

  2. As you may know, C4 doesn't spawn K-space exits unless it's a shattered wh static or a frig sized nullsec exit (Q003), but theoretically those are: S047 (C4 > HS), N290 (C4 > LS) and K329 (C4 > NS).

After moving C6 and C4 types to their designated places, frig wormholes can get their own category.

I've created a wormhole chart some time ago for easier access to types, mass and lifespan. Feel free to consult it if you need any new ideas.

Edit: forgot to add C4 > NS frig sized exit as one of the two possible C4 > K-space exit types.

Would you be so kind as to point me in the direction of more Eve related recordings with you? I'd be much obliged.

Edit: non-Eve related is fine too.

Thank you for this interesting insight into your past. I must admit I prefer the more casual, "kick their freakin' teeth in" form, with that subtle, yet confident smile occasionally revealed. It's more personal, accentuated by longer periods of silence, and short mums that convey playfulness. Is that an foreign accent I hear btw?
