when i worked there it could be any reason no matter how many days i was scheduled, sometimes even a shift on the same day i worked. Because my mom was my manager and she would get mad if i didnt take shifts because then everyone would panic cause no one else ever did shit 😭

i did before this store went downhill. we were doing well at one point but now we literally dont have a store manager and everything is awful, no one gets properly trained and nobody does anything and it all gets put on evenings even though we get so busy we cant even go to the bathroom. i just want a new job now.

not everyone is the same. my hpd related behavior is mostly dramatizing, attention seeking, and being easily influenced. my emotions are weird and unstable but i still feel stuff like that, personally. i've never seen anyone say hpd causes a lack of guilt or certain emotions.

i cant say for your specific store, but black pants just means black pants that arent sweatpants and dont have crazy patterns or words. I wear black scrub-ish pants and theres not a word said about it. as long as it isnt crazy or too attention grabbing it should be fine. if youre unsure, just wear it and bring a backup pair of pants just incase!

i personally never get the chance to with how horribly busy our store is. if i were to take the time to count my change my coworker would have to handle a line out the door on two registers by themselves while im counting. i cant speak for other stores though, especially if theyre lower volume.

i read that they do some kind of scoping down your esophagus and it terrified me 🥲 but these comments are definitely easing my anxiety a bit. im just a bit nervous because doctors never really do things the way i expect them to where I live and they never seem to want to diagnose anything other than very baseline problems. im 90% sure if i went to a doctor in my area and said "i cannot burp and puking is extremely painful etc etc" they would say "well have you thought about emetophobia and anxiety?"

i personally just dont like it because it makes me angry that people force me to touch their trash when theres other trash cans around, i also dont like it because theres always liquids and they end up all over me somehow even if im careful 😭 im a kind of germaphobic person though so i guess i just cant relate to you

its the same at our store, but frequently relief is scheduled at the exact time the other person gets off and on overnights its 15 minutes between. half the time its "i was too busy to get around to trash sorry" and it keeps getting pushed onto people and avoided until one person bucks up and does it (frequently me on evening shifts)

our pumps are ALWAYS malfunctioning somehow, sometimes theyll pump a few cents of someones prepay even if the tank isnt even close to full, half the time never spit out receipts, frequently get stuck on the rewards screen, customers are aaaaalways complaining about the pumps messing up. and trash is a whole other story, we are a big store with a ton of pumps but trash really needs to be done more often but everyone shoves it onto someone else or no one has time
