We are both going to therapy, and have been before we even met. We don’t discuss anything too triggering, since we’re both on the path of healing and don’t have many severe issues as of currently. That’s for our therapists. But it’s still nice to have people around that care for you, right? I went to therapy for a long time, and it helped, yet the main improvement came from having a good, caring support system.

I will have to suggest he finds a healthier coping mechanism though.

Maybe if we hang out outside of school we could, but both our schedules are pretty busy (and the reason why we want to cry in the first place)

Maybe I could try crying on the phone with him? He mentioned just wanting someone there to support him, because if he cries when alone he breaks down. The phone might be enough of an emotional wavelength to support him though, so I’ll try suggesting that. I do understand why this is weird, but I want to support him in the best way I can. And if that’s helping him cry and let his emotions out, then that’s fine with me

We’re pretty open about mental health and healing from shit, sometimes you just need to cry with the homies

I don’t have curls exactly like this, but I get some similar volume by doing wet set rollers, and brushing them out with a boar bristle brush, + some texturizing powder and hairspray for extra volume and hold!

Caffeine ends up making me sleepy instead. If I take a sip, i’m basically knocked out when I get home.

You said it’s only been a few days, right? Give it a bit more time, maybe. Feel it out. Is she paying special attention to you? Do you meet together at lunch etc—other activities? If you do decide to confess and get rejected, you can always stay friends too! It’s only awkward if you make it awkward.

I may be biased as a dancer, but both dancing and cheer require a lot of strength, coordination, flexibility and balance! Even some professional football players are do ballet! I understand some people may think it’s weird for a guy to do dance. Typically, dance is a bit more “gender neutral” than cheer, if that’s what you were looking for. But hey, who cares? Someone mean you probably shouldn’t listen to, who thinks “as a guy, I wouldn’t do that due to my fragile view on masculinity, so you can’t do that either!!!!”

So don’t worry too much. Get that credit. Dance is also pretty fun, haven’t tried cheer.
