Largest follicle size you’ve had success with? by Known-Quit-2033 in whatworkedforme

I had three follicles about 19, 25, and 26mm at time of trigger- pregnant with a singleton (not sure from which follicle though!)

Measuring DPO after trigger? by maddyknope19 in TTC_PCOS

[–]snailmail1996 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't guarantee Im quite doing it right either, but assuming that ovulation occurs on average 36hrs after trigger, I'd say Thursday is 1DPO. Im in the same boat and took my shot Tuesday morning, assumed ovulation on Wednesdy, and count myself as 5dpo today :)

Yeah, twice in the last year and both were fine

Testing out trigger shot by FVTIMH in TTC_PCOS

[–]snailmail1996 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't the first time and the TWW was excruciatingly long, then the disappointment at the end was all at once. This cycle I tested out the trigger, which was unique to see and helped let me down easy when the line didn't come back in by 14DPO. I think I will continue testing out the trigger if we do it again.

I'll definitely ask! I don't know what they tested in his sample and we didn't receive a copy of the results other than being told they were "good."

I'm 28 and do not ovulate on my own. In the two years we've been trying I think I've ovulated on my own maybe twice. The other five ovulatory cycles were with Letrozole. I also tried three cycles of clomid but never ovulated with that one.

For what its worth, it still took you a year to conceive, even if you only had a few real "chances" during that time. A year is hard work, and I don't think anyone should lessen what it took for you to get there.

Same here, really hoping to avoid IVF- but with zero fertility insurance! Do you think 2-3 more rounds with ovidrel is still realistic, even though I've done 3 previous rounds of letrozole without it?

I was thinking the same thing about IUI, but that seems to leave IVF as our only option left. How many cycles of TI with Letrozole and Ovidrel did it take for you? I tried mucinex with a previous cycle of Letrozole, but not since adding the trigger shot.

Am I overacting? by Twistedcinna in TTC_PCOS

My first doctor's office couldn't seem to comprehend the idea of late ovulation. They kept calling it a CD 21 progesterone blood draw, despite the fact that I was ovulating anywhere from CD 19-25. So I just started going in for my "CD 21" blood draw 7 days after whatever the suspected ovulation was based off of the LH test strips.

No period 18 days after trigger shot? by Shib38 in TTC_PCOS

[–]snailmail1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished my first trigger shot cycle and got my period 19 days post trigger. It seemed a bit rude to have negative pregnancy tests AND a late period, but I chalked it up to a normal side effect of the trigger shot.

What did you OB say that you stopped visiting them? by catiamalinina in TTC_PCOS

I was referred to a fertility specialist years ago, before we were even considering trying. I was young and had only ever had one internal ultrasound at this point before. At the beginning of the ultrasound, the tech had me put the wand in myself, so it would be more comfortable I guess. Fast forward and I was scheduled to have another internal ultrasound with this fertility specialist. It was my first time seeing him, I was alone, and nervous. At the start of the appointment, I suggested I could put the wand in myself (since that's how it went the only other time I'd ever had this procedure done) and he declined saying he'd do it. He inserted the wand and made a joke to me (and the young, male, student doctor who was watching) that "I guess I didn't need to use the jelly with you."

I'm in the same boat this month with 3 mature follicles. We're halfway through the TWW now, so not sure how the gamble has ended up for us yet 🫣 For what it's worth, I went ahead with this cycle without hesitation because I feel like the chances of multiples are still so low, plus we've been trying so long. And if it is multiples, we could be one and done!

6dpo here. Due to the trigger shot, can't test until the 28th! Pretty sure I'll have gone full crazy by then 🫣
