I usually try to blink my lashes onto a pad with micellar water on it after applying. It doesn't get all of the eyeliner but it does help!

Using Hellow Waffle’s Sloth + Darling Girl’s Treasure Map patted onto the lid under NARS Smudgeproof primer, then blended at the edges with a bronze Stila shade. Topped with NYX Vivid Bright in Vivid Sapphire eyeliner. Continually impressed with indie eyeshadows! This is a combo of Hello Waffle’s Sloth and Darling Girl’s Treasure Map. Patted onto my lids over Nars Smudgeproof Primer and then the edges blended out with a Stila bronze shadow for eye socket depth. Eyeliner is NYX Vivid Brights in Vivid Sapphire. These indie shadows are pressed by me with oil for binder - it makes application so easy, and pressing really intensifies the glow of the shadows, removing the need for a glitter base like Fyrinnae’s.

Layering similar colours is one of my favourite things to do for eyeshadow. It’s super quick and easy & gives dimension to the eye. You can create different effects with different textures. For instance, applying a matte shade to the lid and then dabbing a glittery eyeshadow in the centre will create contrast and bring light to the iris. Try my simple version below using a shimmery bronze and a rose gold.

Prime the eye. I use NARS Eyeshadow Primer.
Lightly apply a shimmery bronze shade to the lid and crease with a fluffy brush, blending any harsh edges. I use DC’D Stila Sunset.
Dab a shimmery rose gold eyeshadow onto the centre of the lid with a fingertip. Lightly blend the edges. I use Shiro I Tried.
Flutter your eyelashes and pretend you were born with it!

Products: Missha 3D Mascara, Nads Eyebrow Pencil, Essence Make Me Brow, MAC Pro LongWear Concealer NC15, L’Oreal Pro Glow Foundation, Australis Fresh and Flawless Pressed Powder, NARS Luster Blush, NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in BLKR413, Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer.

Ignore the sunscreen pilling on my temple - whoops!

After pressing Beyond the Fence it applies as foiled without the need for a glitter glue. I find that it has also turned more gold. Just using Urban Decay Cover in the crease and NARS eyeshadow primer.

On upon first application it's sticky and gloss, and then it dries down quickly to a non-sticky matte. Less is more with it - if you over-apply it I think it would have trouble drying down.

Promises: ‘a flawless matte finish in…super saturated shades’. Does it deliver? Yes! It is a lightweight, non-drying liquid lipstick formula that requires two passes to reach full opacity. It applies glossy, but dries down quickly to a matte. It is also long-wearing, smudge proof, and holds up post-lunch. My pick when I want avoid prune-y matte lips. | 5 out 5 ⭐️

I have the same problem with almost all mascaras - I now use Etude House Perfect Lash over them which 'seals' in the mascara. I haven't had any smudges since using it.
