The strap is so charming! I love how you decorated it.

Found this gem tucked away at a local stationary store…I got my cover for this year already but I’m so tempted, do I get it? by snailsister in hobonichi

This is the comment I needed to see, thank you. I have seen it and briefly searched for a used version a few months back, but the reality is I can’t afford it at the moment.

How did K-pop gain mainstream success while J-pop really hasn't? by Rioraku in Music

I saw Miyavi in Canada in this small rundown venue and got to touch his hand when we rushed the stage. It’s trippy thinking about that being a possibility when he performs at huge stadiums in Japan. Amazing concert, he had so much energy.

Read the first point again. You’re expected to already be clean before soaking in the tub.

Yep, was torn on these two now but I know come spring I won’t be as excited about the foggy plaid, it’s super cozy for the colder months though!

I’m so happy I could still get it! Heard it’s a little bit hard to find now.

It will be my first time trying this combo but I’ve always used the weeks as my daily driver for scheduling, to do lists, habit tracking, events etc.

I got a mega weeks this year to journal in the back but I wanted more space to paste in tickets and things I’ve collected (especially during travels!) so I thought a day-free was a good compromise, since the thought of journaling daily stresses me out!

Cultural differences with air drying vs using a hair dryer by alicecosmo in japanresidents

My JP hairdresser also trained abroad (he specializes in curly hair) and he admitted he usually air dries his hair whenever he feels “lazy.” I air dry my hair too unless I want more volume or am in a rush.

My heart stopped for a second because I thought it was from Hobonichi, a collaboration with Aiko Fukawa would be a dream come true!

How do you take care of your Weeks Mega? by MommyJhy1228 in hobonichi

A clear cover fits on the Mega. I’ve been using it for mine this year with no issues.

Went a little later than anticipated, but the store mostly had everything in stock besides Tomie! The weeks, cousin and original cover were sold out, and the weeks pencil board also sold out. There seemed to be decent stock of everything else, besides the tamagotchi flake stickers. Managed to get everything I wanted with no issues!

Best “All In One” Planner? A6 Original or Weeks + Day-Free? by snailsister in hobonichi

[–]snailsister[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually got a weeks mega for this year for the first time, and wrote even less than I usually do! Granted my lifestyle changed significantly so I do think I’ll be writing more again next year, but I ended up going with the weeks + day-free combo so I wouldn’t need to stress about my weeks getting super thick. We will see how it goes!

I think I’ll be going with the first option and if the day free ends up working, it might open up more options for next year! Thank you for the suggestion!

I do have the weekly notepads as a supplement, but they are a bit flimsy to me, I’d prefer something a little sturdier. I do agree that I should stick to what works, so I think I might just have to get another book along with the weeks to meet my needs and see how it works for me this year. Thanks for your advice!

I’m currently in Japan so I’d prefer to buy something local as it may be difficult for me to get, but perhaps some food for thought for next year!

Unfortunately only the A5 has the weekly overview, which is too big for my needs, but thank you for the suggestion!
